I had selective reading on that part hahahaThat article lost my attention the second they put Bobby Brown and dilemma in the same sentence. That was a dilemma? In what fooking world?

Correct me if I'm wrong, don't the 9ers have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL next year? I hate em but not counting them out. They have to prove some injury prone and aging players can stay healthy but if they do and that schedule bares out, they're gonna be a real threat to us for the NFC West. That bald dude is a dumb fuck. Whiners a threat? Fuck up dumbass! We are the threat as long as we stay healthy.
Appreciate you sharing but most everything from SI these days is fans-slop except for Breer.Good article and the primary reason I don't see Kyren resigned.

Why Kyren Williams is Odd-Man Out in 2026 negotiations
When an NFL franchise becomes as good as the Los Angeles Rams or Detroit Lions have become, the team must pick and choose who they want to extend and who they mwww.si.com
Whiners have one thing in their favor. Weakest schedule in the league. But they won't have the horses to keep up with the upper echelon teams. McCaffrey says he feels better. But they always say that. He's probably gonna be battling injuries during the season. I seriously doubt he'll be anywhere near the 2023 version.
Deebo's gone. Aiyuk won't be available till midseason. And he'll need time to get in football shape. If he ever does. He missed most of camp last year and wasn't very good the 7 games he played.
Aside from Trent Williams their offensive line was a weak spot. And they didn't do anything to improve it. They were bad in run defense and they're counting on rookies to change improve it. That's always a risk. Some think their first round pick was a reach.
Bottom line, their roster is not what it was a few years ago. Core players are aging or gone. More than half their defensive starters are gone. I have a hard time buying into the idea they're still an elite team. With the schedule they might win 9 or 10 games. But they won't last long if they make the playoffs.
I don't see them bouncing back. CMC isn't any younger and has always been injury prone. Stating strength of schedule before games start is fools gold. For example, no one saw Washington or Minnesota as teams that would win as much as they did. I'm just going with my gut that SF will not bounce back nor make the playoffs.Correct me if I'm wrong, don't the 9ers have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL next year? There's been concern among people in SF that CMC's achilles problem is chronic. Right now he says he feels good. But he hasn't tested the achilles yet. He's been a heavily used back in both the run and passing game. At the age where heavily used RB's start to break down and decline. He's the key to Brock Purdy's success. Without his elite production I wouldn't be surprised if their fans start grumbling that it was a mistake to pay Purdy that much. He's a very good game manager. But that is predicated on high end talent around him. I don't see him having that this year.I don't see them bouncing back. CMC isn't any younger and has always been injury prone. I think we need to see a good year from Avila before we put him in the 3rd year extension category.Agreed with the article...but they're forgetting names like Steve Avila in that category. I think he's done more than enough to be re-signed. Ethan Evans should be re-signed as well, but he'll be cheaper.
Either way, I think the smart move would be to move K-Will for a mid-round pick at the trade deadline and roll with Corum and Hunter as a tandem.
There is no fucking way we pay a RB after spending 3rd and 4th round picks on RB in the last 2 drafts. The last thing I want to see is money tied to Williams impacting the ability to sign Nacua, Young, Turner and Avila to extensions. KW is much more easily replaceable as the replacements are already on the roster. NO BIG MONEY TO A RB at this point. Quit paying motherfuckers for past production and pay them for what you to belive to be future production.Just like the Rams should release Colby Parkisian? It’s funny how some Rams Fans are ? Fair enough we all have players we like & don’t like. Just upsetting.
My point in Kyren Williams & The Rams was in a DEEP RB class you protect yourself as a TEAM against these situations.
We can look at the HISTORY of The MCSNEAD ERA & see how they work.I don’t always AGREE,but certain Players Earn Better & there Right to BE RAMS !!!
Kyren Williams deserves better than he gets as a Player!! There is gamesmanship that goes on with NEGOTIATIONS.
I’ll just say Right Now both are in a sweet spot.I’d say a 3 year contract would be nice!! It’d workout real well for The Rams.
Anyways I’ve got more on this subject which gets deeper.
If you can predict future production, you should contact all 32 NFL teams immediately and start a price war for your services. There is no fucking way we pay a RB after spending 3rd and 4th round picks on RB in the last 2 drafts. I'd wager the only 2 we keep of those 4 are Avila and Puka. Young was made expendable with this draft IMO and I'd love to keep Turner but I think he's replaceable in the end, maybe even by this draft as well.Avila, Puka, Turner and Young will be eligible for extensions next offseason. Rams don't have to but letting them go into next season not knowing if they will extend them can have adverse affects. Especially if they hold out during camp. Can we keep all 4 beyond their rookie contracts?
I agree with you on Avila, Puka & Young.I'd wager the only 2 we keep of those 4 are Avila and Puka. Young was made expendable with this draft IMO and I'd love to keep Turner but I think he's replaceable in the end, maybe even by this draft as well.
Agree on Young. Disagree on Turner. He’s the leader of that front 7 right now.I'd wager the only 2 we keep of those 4 are Avila and Puka. Young was made expendable with this draft IMO and I'd love to keep Turner but I think he's replaceable in the end, maybe even by this draft as well.
I agree with you on Avila, Puka & Young.
But Kobie Turner replaceable?!? Man I think of him as a Rams mainstay & foundational piece of the DL for the next 4-5 years.
Avila needs to improve greatly to get consideration for a big contract.I'd wager the only 2 we keep of those 4 are Avila and Puka. Young was made expendable with this draft IMO and I'd love to keep Turner but I think he's replaceable in the end, maybe even by this draft as well.
Possible but you don't think Verse or Fiske are just as capable of leading?Agree on Young. Disagree on Turner. He’s the leader of that front 7 right now.
Id put any regression, which to me is minor, on them trying him at center. This year even with a weak center next to him he'll rebound. A full camp at guard assures that imo.Avila needs to improve greatly to get consideration for a big contract.
He was not good last year, bottom line.
Injuries and all rest played a role for sure, but, he regressed quite a bit last year.
Would love for him to get back into form and earn a nice raise.
Anything is possible. Mainstays and foundational pieces to fans have been moved on. I like KT a lot but there are very very few players that can't be replaced. Like with Young we may have already drafted his successor in Hamilton.I agree with you on Avila, Puka & Young.

We shall see.Id put any regression, which to me is minor, on them trying him at center. This year even with a weak center next to him he'll rebound. A full camp at guard assures that imo.
