Man....season just ended and the media is already THIS desperate to find something to talk about. It's gonna be a long offseason.

I'm 2 day shipping a dildo to Amazon with a message from all Rams fans as it concerns McVay......go fuck yourselves
Priority delivery to Bezos' desk. Yes I like it.

If Stan fucks around with McVay and loses him I will never forgive him. Lock your coach up Stan.

Yeah, that would be the very definition of penny wise, pound foolish.

This is Amazon's PR team trying to let football fans know that they broadcast live games. Nothing more.

They know that McVay is going to be the Rams HC, so might as well get some press before he does.

Sean speaks well in the position he is in.

Nothing says he has the skill much less the interest to become a full time analyst.

I would say there is a better chance he puts himself on the active roster than goes into a booth to be a talking head.

One does not make history in this league by earning it in the booth.

The man is growing as a HC. And he knows that. He has the rare opportunity to grab a few more or ten trophies. Just like other HCs he has won one. And the true taste of that victory. And much to still prove to himself.

AS much as this ride has been a fun one these past few years, Sean is just beginning to hit his stride.

GO RAMS!!!

The money would be hard to pass up.

Romo signed a $180 mill contract with CBS?
He's making more as an analyst, then he did as a player.

If Amazon goes after McVay for $18-$20 mill a year, that would be hard to pass up.

I dont think there is an NFL coach making more than $10 mill at the moment.

McVay can make double what the highest paid NFL coaches make and work far less hours.

I don't think McVay staying a coach, is a given.

Standby for five year contract extension..............

I was just watching the 2nd half of the AFC Championship on the NFL Network; and was thinking that when it was over, I would post on the Forum that I thought Romo was an OK commentator but nothing special.

I changed my mind a few moments later.

In Overtime, Joe Mixon ran up the middle to the K.C. ten to set-up the game-winning-FGA. There was a question after the game whether Mixon went-down without contact, and the ball should have been considered a free-ball to recover.

It appeared that Andy Reid called a timeout. Perhaps to force the replay booth to take a closer-look.

The $18M-per-year Expert Commentator suggested that Reid was going to 'Challenge-the-Play'; and furthermore, would challenge the formation as illegal. It had to be pointed-out to the highest-paid-commentator in the NFL that in OT, all reviews came from the Replay Booth and that an illegal formation was not even a challengeable play.

Yeah, I'm thinking Tony Romo is a tad over-paid.

McVay isn't going anywhere just yet. He will get a new deal with the Rams. And being a commentator isn't necessarily some great life. You have to freaking talk all the time but never get to do anything. You have to have good ratings. You have to be polite and diplomatic to everyone, even total jerks. Say something wrong and you are canceled.

Worst for McVay, you have to watch football from the outside, without actually being engaged in the game with the players and trying to win. Which is what McVay lives for.

Imo it would drive McVay crazy to be a talking head unless or until he was already really ready to give up coaching. He would be back on the field a lot quicker than Eric Weddle.

Besides, imagine how much they will offer him if the Rams win 2-3 more Super Bowls?

I remember watching this real time, and saying they were going to look at whether that ball was recoverable, and the announcing team never mentioned it at all. I thought it was crazy. Why aren't they showing replays? Why are they suggesting they were looking at whether to challenge formation?

Made no sense at all to me.

The rams spent years maybe even decades finding a good coach and we finally, FINALLY get it solved to the tune of 2 SB appearances. Now after 6 years it’s, maybe McVay will retire and do tv. Is anyone else talking about this? Sure, guys like Asshole Face who’ve coached forever. Long suffering rams fans finally have a coach and a qb at the peak of their powers at the same time, the golden age has finally arrived, now there’s this. It doesn’t seem likely but who knows.
We deserve to be happy, leave us alone.

This is tabloid entertainment.
Not real reporting.

If this is tabloid journalism I expect some aliens mixed in. Like McVay is really one. Or Snead. Or maybe that SoFi is the mothership and they let Spanos onboard for entertainment value.

But in all seriousness McVay will be great at broadcasting if/when he goes that route. It just better not be soon or I will be shipping dildos to Stan.
