The timing of this makes me wonder if McSnead were considering retirement if the Rams won the Super Bowl this year, along with Stafford...
One reason we (mostly) all like the pair of them is their professionalism and focus. So I'd be stunned if that conversation was ever had because it'd be a rookie thing to do.

The fact we hired both of Cleveland's ST coordinators is goddamn hilarious. Hearing McVay talk them both up just sitting here laughing to myself. Those poor Brownstain bastids.

I love it because if it can be made miserable for Cleveland, it’s gonna happen.

Imagine the misery when we have a top 3 rated ST unit with their former ST coordinator and asst coordinator. That’s how I know this is gonna be good.

Whatever native lands they desecrated, whatever Fae they messed with, whatever sacrilege they engaged in…Cleveland is destined for Misery. Baker became really good after leaving as have so many others. Belichick was the HC there with maybe the best coaching staff of all time and they sucked. The team moved to Baltimore and was instantly successful as they Ravens.

It bodes well for us and I’m here for it.

May your words come to life, Mack.

I was literally thinking of that video when I wrote that…and it’s maybe one of the top ten best fan videos of any sport on all of YouTube. “You are a Factory of Sadness” is maybe the most iconic line from any fan to their team…ever.”

Is this credible? I haven't seen what any sources reporting the contract value?

I am huge McVay fan. And I initially was not a fan at all. He won me over. See my sig! But that said, it is hard to tell if McVay's contract is good value without knowing what the other coaches make. McVay is elite. Arguably the best in the business, but there are a handful of other HCs that could also make that case. If he is being paid head and shoulders above all the others, like this picture suggests, then I don't think it's a great deal for the Rams... then again, it might be the classic case of "next man up", with each elite coach repeatedly setting the market, plus, the Rams are in between a rock and a hard place, there is little to no chance you can replace him with someone as capable. But we cannot act like he is perfect. Better clock management and the Rams likely beat Seattle. But without McVay, if we were to replace him with a better clock manager, are we even in position to win? Can the offense even come close to being that productive vs. that Seattle defense, on the road, without McVay scheming things up? Probably not...
Who here among us has behaved that way? So we might as well just admit nobody's perfect but we've come mighty close with McVay, right?
We went from an NFL joke, to one of the most stable franchises in the league.

Life is good for us Rams Fans.
There are 2 teams who haven't changed head coaches since McVay arrived in L.A.. Kansas City and San Francisco. There are 7 other teams who've only changed coaches once since McVay arrived. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Buffalo, Seattle, Philadelphia, Cincinnati and Green Bay. Those 9 other teams have 5 Lombardi's during that time. KC (3), Philly (2). Seattle can join that group this weekend.

In addition, there are 9 teams who've changed coaches twice during that time. Dallas, Detroit, LA Chargers, Indy, Minnesota, N. England, N. Orleans, Tampa and Washington.

There are 12 teams who've changed coaches 3 times or more since McVay arrived. Jax, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Miami, NY Jets, Tennessee (3 each), Arizona, Carolina, NY Giants (4 each) and the Raiders (5 times).

For those counting that makes 21 teams who've made multiple head coaching changes since McVay arrived. How lucky are Rams fans?

LaFleur makes the 7th McVay assistant to get a head coaching job. Will he go by the way of Staley and Morris or like his brother, Taylor, O' Connell or Coen? Seems like the offensive guys stick or get more rope while the defensive guys get 2 years. I doubt Staley and Morris' performances limited Shula's chances this time around but if the Rams D improves.....and I'm betting it will....will Shula get a new job after next year?

31 Other Teams
2 With Zero
7 With One

31-9 = 22 so it makes 22 for those of us counting.

What???? He sucked!!! Lousy playcalling!!!! Terrible time management!!! Blew the CCG game for us!!!! What a dumb assed move by Demoff!!! How much longer do we have to put up with this bullshit?????
Didn't we all join this site in the first place because 'misery loves company'?
I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with a team that's in contention every year.
Total bullshit.
