Of course because you're a Rams fan. But like has been quoted many times this is a 3 part deal. Also it really isn't a fail if we get a 2nd rounder this year and a conditional 3rd next year. That's damned good value that's a mid 1st round pick value.

Of course they state that a 1st round pick is the asking price that's basic negotiations you don't open up with a low bid and hope for the best that somebody meets it.
I think it’s a terrible deal if that’s all we get. We are basically giving up a shot at the Super Bowl next year, and that’s a pretty big fucking ask. At minimum there should be a swap of 1st rounders.

It's very valuable. Titans should take a QB. Browns pretty much have to with no QB and no cap to sign a vet. So number three should get their choice of the best pass rusher best WR or best CB who also is a good WR. All 3 are often ranked above the 2 QBs. Pick 3 has incredible value
Sure sounds like talk out of Tenn is that they don't want a QB and want Abdul... which is interesting because maybe you fein interest in Ward to get someone to bite?

Ah, for fuck's sakes.

A couple weeks ago I was 95% confident that Stafford would stay with the Rams, but now with all the trade speculation absolutely exploding, my guess is it's only 65% likely Stafford stays.

Props to @den-the-coach and his predictive powers... Raiders are looking like really aggressive suitors.

Main consolation-- as always-- Rams have McVay. Whatever happens with Stafford, I have faith that the Rams will be legit Super Bowl contenders. Either next season and/or within the next couple of years.

For the 2450th post in this thread, I’d like to make a post that everyone here can agree with:

Tom Brady is a fucking cuckolded, cheating, hypocritical bitch who liked to get pegged by Giselle until he saw Belicheat with his underaged girlfriend, and thought, “Maybe Bill was right all along!”

I'd insist on a little more than a 2nd and 3rd.

The various trade charts show that 34 and 66 for example are roughly the equivalent of pick 21. That's about an 18-20% disparity in value compared to mid-1st such as pick 16.

The chair in hotel rooms shall now be called the Brady chair.

Insist to your hearts content. Think it'll make a difference? I'm curious though how many times have the Rams traded away a player and you been happy with the return?

He stays. For some reason, I’m channeling @El Chapo Jr ’s balls into vibrating toward this all being a media driven shit show drama theater. Matthew will be in horns for the next three seasons. Calling it now.

Price of picks going up!
Looking at the "traded picks page on GBN, the Raiders have an extra conditional 3rd from the Jets that could have elevated to a 2nd for Devante Adams. I am guessing it didn't elevate to the 2nd?

Anyway they have their 1st, 2nd, and probably two 3rds. So they have some ammo for Stafford considering they are all high picks in each round.

I'm usually on the realist, borderline pessimist, side when predicting trade comp, so I'm not usually unhappy or surprised with the return.

In this case, I think Stafford should be able to garner something close to what Rodgers returned in trade. And that was mid 1st value. My calculations on the trade charts estimated it at pick 13 equivalent.

I'm hoping they don't do much worse than that.

First (#3 overall or #6 overall) and the first second of the buying team for Stafford alone. Let’s drive the price up!

If your another team, what’s a QB like Mattew Stafford worth ? What’s the 3rd part ?

How much will The Rams eat of his contract?? The value goes up though if there is bidding.Keeping your cards close to the vest isn’t always a bad thing.Stafford is the face card, what’s underneath & the risk reward.

Stafford could jump start the raiders with a new fan base & stadium.

I’ll say this, what’s a Great place to Tailgate! Vegas baby…

My whole thinking is 1st round value not necessarily a 1st rounder. Especially with the 2 teams that seem to be most likely or pushing the hardest to trade for him. We're not getting pick #3 or #6 unless we give them 26 and a sweetener IMO.
1st and 2nd in ‘26 maybe?

Nah… fuck it. No team is giving the Rams what they need for Matty. He stays. We build. We give him an extra $10 mill this year plus an incentive laden 2 more with opt outs. He proves out? He’s golden and so are the Rams. He has to put his own money where his wife’s mouth is.
