Something just occurred to me.

Wilson flopped in New York under LaFleur.
Wilson joins Rams and shines under McVay.

How does that make LaFleur look?

Makes it look like McVay was one of the factors into Wilson's improved playing. LaFleur has more time to spend with him as OC than he did as HC. He has better OL and weapons as well here.

If that were to happen, you could just write it off as him being young and immature. A coach can only do so much if a player doesn't take his coaching.

Oh right getting them mixed up those LaFleur boys. I'll stick with the last 2 add to that he probably would have benefitted from sitting and learning it helps some QB's out a lot.

I wonder if the knows the Rams decision.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the Rams could possibly get a former McVay pupil in Kirk Cousins for a season and pay him peanuts as Atlanta covers his expenses the way Denver paid Russell Wilson to play in Pittsburgh this year.

Saturday Morning Inspection (a football channel) thinks the Rams want the clarity because they have some MASSIVE trades planned and need the clarity to make them happen.

I watched it. Very disappointed. Just a bunch of suspicion on their part. I won't discredit anyone wondering if a trade happens with the Rams involved, Snead has a history of making things happen.

Is nobody going to call out Mike LaFleur?? doesn't he bear at least some responsibility for the stale play calling when we just weren't scoring points?
When we went into no-huddle mode, Stafford killed the Iggles. KILLED them. Got us within 10 yards of a triumphant win, and then... a huddle. A better play call might've at least gotten us the yards we needed.

Well the last 3rd down play call Stunk !! Rams 3rd and 2 from 13 1:14 left. WTF is Stafford getting Sacked ?? Maybe a run play would have worked (draw).

Probably better than Mike ?? Matt knew that Mcvay was such a control freak with his play calling.He left for the Titians for a similar job,but able to make the calls.

If you consider how much the Ams gave up to get Stafford, it seems like a lot to only have him for three years.

I hope they get him signed. I don’t see any better options at this point. Plus this team almost got to the NFC championship game (should have imo). They are too close for a major reset at QB.

Well, he is signed. Will he hold out without a new contract?
That remains to be seen.
