Of course I read it, that's why the lol at the end. However I disagree with Stafford possibly acting all pouty to kill a deal. I just don't see it (my opinion obviously) however if he does that, I don't respect that kinda shit. If you can't come to terms with the Rams and they find a partner willing to meet your financial needs, then why cry when you are getting your main priority taken care of? For those of that will be like but he wants to win, to that I say then figure shit out with the Rams or convince those other teams to give us what the Rams want if they truly want you since according to your wife, you want to feel wanted. Ultimately I hope he figures out we are the best team for him and they can hammer something out. If not get the best deal for him or sit his ass until those demands are met, he'll eventually cave. Unfortunately when a stalemate gets contentious, one side is going to have to force the others hand in a trade one way or another, its just the nature of it.That's what I keep saying. Did you even read my post?
A three party trade tequires some team (that stafford likes) being desperate enough to fork over what Snead expects. Stafford can't force a trade. And the Rams can't either (if they expect to get a good return).
This thing is Kabuki theater to help Stafford realize that there's no place like home.
If only we could get Dorothy (and Toto) to tell Stafford ...

Halsey acted stupidly.Nah, his ATF film is The Hunt for Red October, since he wishes he could have been a submariner.
Who says they're pissed at Kupp?I think they are going to keep him and they placed Stafford and Kupp on the Trading block to see what other teams value them for a contract extension and comp incase shit goes south. ( Hence Why they are pissed at Kupp for him saying anything) If Rams want 40 Mil, Stafford wants 50mil/year and teams Say on Avg 45, they will prob meet in the middle. If its over 50 mil from other teams, it depends on how far Rams want to go.
There is literally no new information here for any careful observer. Things remain as they are. Rams most likely to sign him but not guaranteed.According to Schrager, several teams are willing to pay him what he wants. To me, that suggests we are now leaning on trading him. I seriously doubt we will cripple ourselves with an added 30m/yr on our salary cap. I guess its time to cut bait and look to the future, which we will need to do regardless next year or the following. Better early then late, but yea, sucks.
The price for Stafford from us or anyone was always going to be over 50 mill. That's what the market is, thems table stakes. There is no reality on earth where anyone thought that the starting spot was gonna be less than 50 unless it was a fan on a forum.I think they are going to keep him and they placed Stafford and Kupp on the Trading block to see what other teams value them for a contract extension and comp incase shit goes south. Stafford's contract issues also coincides with an epically bad QB class too. So it's not like it's the easiest answer to just move on from him. That is where you lose me.
It's tough to be a legit Super Bowl contender.
It's also really tough to be a contender for a Lombardi, without a high quality-QB.
And it's extremely tough to find and add a high quality-QB.
The Rams have that right now.
If Stafford is gone, they are most likely not a Super Bowl contender; and, maybe, not even a playoff team.
Yup, that is the issue and the serious disadvantage the Rams are in.According to Schrager, several teams are willing to pay him what he wants. To me, that suggests we are now leaning on trading him. Yeah, Just pay the fucking guy already! The price for Stafford from us or anyone was always going to be over 50 mill. That's what the market is, thems table stakes. There is no reality on earth where anyone thought that the starting spot was gonna be less than 50 unless it was a fan on a forum.
I do agree with you there. While I do think he'd turn down a bad team, I think the money is making noise right now. My Hope is that teams don't agree to the rumored salary that he's demanding and then he knows that the Rams are the right place for him.Maybe so but I doubt he would do that if the Browns provide a sound plan and sell themselves to him (funny I know, but look at Washington who was a laughing stock). Honestly I hope he sees it the waybyou are talking about and that drives him to remain with the Rams. Unfortunately, I'm going to go with the fact that he simply wants to be paid, why else would he want a new contract? Why else would his wife talk about respect and feeling wanted? Those are all pay him statements. This is literally going to be his last big contract opportunity and the guy has a Superbowl already. There is rarely a player out there that says no to the bigger contract opportunity unless the Rams come close to offering the most.
Yeah Cowherd ( I dont usually care what he says) said The Los Angeles Rams are "reportedly not happy with Cooper Kupp" after he went public about trade talks.Whatever is going on, I don't love
Who says they're pissed at Kupp?

I don't think it's the 50 million. I think it's the length. I'm sure the Rams could pay him 50 million for a year or 2. Does Stafford want more guaranteed money than that is the question.Yeah, Just pay the fucking guy already!
