My wife & daughter take llamas/alpacas to the Portland airport (at their request) - sort of like therapy dogs do, to cheer folks up (because as I've learned, not all people are flying for happy reasons), calm nervous folks, entertain the masses, etc... My wife takes them as for free therapy interactions as part of the non-profit she has. My daughter takes them for cold hard cash, if/when concession vendors want to attract a crowd or do publicity outreach for whatever they are selling.

I guess they can also add, "cause folks to miss their flights", someday to the list of services they provide!!
