My sign given to me by my son, and the catchers mitt personally given to me in 1977 by 1965 World Champion Dodger catcher Johnny Roseboro. All star catcher for Drysdale and Koufax.

He was being assaulted by Juan Marichal the day I was born August 22, 1965, at Candlestick, and 12 years later he came to our home, had dinner with us, and gave me this mitt. (I actually used it in several games)

And 60 years after that incident, another Dodger Catcher hits the game 7 winning home run for the Dodgers to again win the Series.

Thanks for the kind gift Johnny. And 60 years after that horrible incident we catchers celebrate and also say, Screw you Giants. :laugh1: :sunglasses:

Dodgers won it all in 2020. The following year, in 2021, Rams had a SB winning season.

Dodgers won it all in 2024. The following year, in 2025, I expect our Rams to win a SB.

Dodgers repeated as champs in 2025. So the following year, in 2026, I expect our Rams to repeat as well.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Great comeback. Both in the game and the series. First team to repeat in 25 years. Now they're right up there with the 92-93 Blue Jays and the 75-76 Cincinnati Reds! Congrats!!!

Congrats to Dodgers fans.

Hopefully my Cardinals can get back to the point where we're competitive again.

Ohtani getting extra time to the mound is some straight up bullshit.
I agree, that's a little lame. Should we allow guest runners for catchers with two outs? They have to put all that equipment on!
Waaaaaahhh!
My complaint is when he's removed as the pitcher, he gets to remain in the lineup. The rule should be, if he's removed as the pitcher, he can remain in the lineup if he plays in the field. Otherwise it's no different than pinch hitting for the DH and allowing him to continue pitching. Or pinch running for the catcher with two outs, so he can put his equipment on. That's little league shit.

But of course that sounds like sour grapes because the Dodgers have the one man who does both. Fine. Dodger fans should no longer be allowed to complain about the tush push! :laugh4:

What a crazy, nail-biting, fun world series. You never knew who would win until the very final out - a crazy, strategic, well-timed, double play.

Jays look like they lost it after the 1-1 split at home. Dodgers looked like they took control after the marathon 18-inning win. Dodgers looked like they lost it after they were down 3-2. Dodgers kept their hopes alive after the crazy catch and throw out at 2nd base in game 6. Dodgers look like they lost it after the Jays homer put them up 3-0 in game 7.

Been cheering for Dodgers since Lasorda's 2nd season as manager and been through a lot but this was the wildest WS I ever saw. Very happy with the back to back. They built it. They earned it.

did you leave out the 1998-2000 Yankees purposely?

What's funny with all the negativity and best team money can buy nonsense out there is the lower payroll players Muncy (120th) and Rojas made key homers, homegrown Andy Pages makes a great catch, and homegrown Will Smith hits the WS winning HR.

Imagine all the haters in the USA wanting Canada to win. They would've cheered for Russia over the Dodgers too. I enjoy swimming in all the traitorous tears best of all.

Batter obviously tried to get beaned. He doesn't get to choose where or how hard.

I loved Wrob's response!!!

Gimenez sticking his hand out towards the ball, in hopes it would hit him is some low brow bullshit.
I rank it right there with NBA and soccer players flopping.
Which is one of the reasons I will not watch either of those sports.

I loved Wrobleski calling him out on it.
Watching Gimenez try and pull that shit, pissed me the fuck off.

The Dodgers pay 75% of their revenue on their players.

Before you start whining about the money ask your ownership why they don't.

GO DODGERS!!!
Especially when you look at the numbers and realize they aren't the richest group. Hell Torontos owner is 2nd behind the Mets.

Traitorous? Lmao, it’s a fucking game and nearly every blue jays player is American. Traitorous, Jesus fucking Christ lmao.

Gimenez is a weirdo.

Batter leans in to get beaned.

PLUNK!!!

Batter: "Ow! Hey that was personal." Acts like he's charging the mound. "Hold me back!"

Wrob: "F** U! Mother F**er!!" :laugh4:
