What points out of curiosity? Other than the Britt TD, which was a legitimate penalty, I don't know which ones. Although I don't think that marginal penalties that have no effect on the play should be called, they get called all the time against every team, so it's hard to really complain there.

i disagree but to each their own -the field position and time left would have made a difference imo..

If they were so upset from the crap call that they couldn't handle themselves even after getting a huge passing play to give them first and goal from the 6 with over a minute left then we have far bigger issues that need to be handled and this team is much further away from being a playoff team than we hope.
 
I'm not sure that the call on the Tavon would have changed much but how many calls are the refs going to blow on one team and still have it be left to the players. On two other occasions the SAN DIEGO broadcasters said they couldn't see how you call that. On the blocked FG attempt, Fish said it right. There is no way that call happens.

Still - we are in position to beat the refs and the Bolts and we do THAT! I don't call a pass there but there is no way as an experienced QB you throw that ball.

The Rams were called for 90 yards in penalties on 9 infractions.

The Chargers we called 8 times for 85 yards.

Can we PLEASE shut down this stupid "the refs are robbing us" bullshit for a change.

I saw one call that was bad, other than that the flags were flying because the penalties were being committed.

You know, there are plenty of other threads, none of them are about the officiating. Maybe those threads might appeal more to you?

The title of this thread was an indicator that I wasn't happy with the refs. It was actually posted a while before the game ended. I wasn't blaming them for the loss, I was angry with them for ruining the games. Not just us, not just this one.

If you don't like my line of thought then say so, certainly there isn't a big need to invite a fellow fan out of a thread is there?

No no, sorry dude...
I only meant that those who are sick of fans blaming the refs might want to avoid threads where that is the agenda of the op.
But if you want to jump in and discuss why you disagree, that's cool too. I was not just responding to you but everyone who is tired of fans blaming the refs.

I just did a lousy job of not coming across as an asshole.

There have been so many bad calls for every team this year. It's beyond stupid. Nfl needs to make a change. You can see penalties easier on tv than you can in person. Just have the command center call the crap.

I think Blandino has to be held responsible to some extent for these horrible calls as well.
