They just handed out Pearce's suspension - 8 games - for what he did, I'd think more. Serious crimes he committed. I thought he might sit the year.

Seems like if we are gona get 1 or 2 suspensions it will come out now. Cross your fingers.

I'm not a puka protector in any way. He's done a lot of dumb stuff recently. But I do think it's unlikely anyone sees him biting someone as an actual act of violence. Not to mention, it was never stated that he was acting in anger or aggression.

It shows how random and stupid the league suspensions are - like a dart board. Less than half a season for what this guy did. Amazing.
I think it shows that big organizations have to follow their policies to a tee to avoid lawsuits. The flow chart of the policies and procedures probably led to this. They got a ton of flack for not having a specific policy for the Ray Rice incident. They overcorrected to this rigid decision making process.

I'd be all for that. Its a win-win, league gets to hand out punishment and they weren't likely to play anyways. 0% chance of occurring, but I like it.

It looks like the league handed out 4 suspensions today. Let's hope that's the end of them for the offseason issues.

WA Dorance Armstrong suspended for one game in the season opener

assault causing bodily injury and resisting arrest/search or transport.

Nazeeh Johnson (Tennessee Titans): Suspended 6 games for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy.

Phidarian Mathis (Buffalo Bills): Suspended 3 games for violating the substance abuse policy.

There's no way the nfl are gonna stop the biggest draw card from both teams not make the trip to Australia.

They need to put puka front and centre of all media spots leading up to the game.

Just don't let him talk to fuckhead social media influencers. God i hate that word.

Definition:
Social media influencer - Lazy fucker who refuses to get a real job. Blood sucker. Pond scum. Qualified for ESPN TV jobs.

Not necesarily.
People have a bad habit of condemning things THEY could not control.
Quit preaching.
I'm another recovering alcoholic on this message board, and I've attended hundreds of meetings over the years. In fact, I got off one only 30 minutes ago.

In my experience, there are very few people who are evangelical about drinking. Of course, there's always some, but not as many as people would assume.

They are just louder and more in your face than the average recovering alcoholic. So it appears like they're everywhere.

Anybody who's been through alcoholism, or going through alcoholism, knows what it involves. And any Rams fan worried about Puka is because they know what it involves. It's a fucking horrible disease.

We all hope he hasn't got it.

Seriously, what the hell is this?

I am a 57-year Die-hard Rams’ fan. Forget the brutal loss in last year’s NFC Championship Game, I am still dealing with the equally brutal losses in Minnesota, in the 1974 and 1976 NFC Championship Games.
Im 58 and those loses still burn in my brain too. The losses to Dallas in 75 and 78 still sting as well. The Rams we not good to me as a child. Between them and the Red Sox getting close but losing became part of my youth as a sports fan lol.

Yes, but good 21st Century for us Ram/Red Sockers, no? Worth the wait. Saved the best for last.

To me though, those 70s Coliseum teams were STILL glorious, even without the Ring.

Heck 2023, '24, and '25 still bother me. Being the best team doesn't alway translate into SB wins.

Agree. All three were brutal losses but only last year’s disappointment would have put the Rams in the Super Bowl.

And as last year’s Wild Card and Divisional Round victories proved, no playoff game should be taken for granted.
