The offense as a whole, although efficient…has become an offense that lacks in a quick strike threat, with skill guys (RB, TE, WR) who are generally not very explosive or scary in the open field. Lack of speed all around, and only one guy (Nacua) who could be labeled as elite. Everyone knows this including the Rams.

Adding Adams was a good addition, maybe even great, but we just don’t know if he’s still elite.
Tutu got “promoted” but hasn’t played much so it’s unknown if he can solve the speed and quick strike problem.

As for the rookies (Hunter and Fergs) I have doubts if Hunter even gets enough touches to add explosive plays. I don’t see it with Fergs, but we’ll see. Rookies. Both are DEPTH rookies.

So we essentially replaced Kupp with Adams and Robinson with Tutu.
All other skill starters are the same guys.

I love Stafford but let’s face it, aside from his elite arm and decision making…he hurts us in explosives too. Can’t move too well these days. Obviously I’m cool with that, he’s our QB and we’re lucky to have him. I think he needs more explosive weapons.

This post is a novel. I’ve explained my position in more detail earlier in the offseason.

(My opinion)Bottom line, I don’t like our RB’s. Need an elite guy there. We need more players on offense besides Nacua that defenses are afraid of.
I hear you and your concern. My hope is that although it may feel as though we didn't do "enough" we actually weren't that far off.
Tae should have essentially an every down effect. Lets hope TuTu gets more passes and plays that utilize his advantages.

T Ferg is the real wild card, if he gets up to speed in the F, takes on some of the Kupp role and can make McVay comfortable in 12 personnel while getting snaps in 11 we are off and running

then we have Corum & Hunter one is healthy and the other adds speed

It may just be enough Mojo
Sometimes small changes make big differences, obviously all of these things happening are pretty big asks but we may not need all of them to happen to be a much more dynamic team

"In the NFL, there’s an unwritten rule that teams don’t claim waived/injured players. It’s a courtesy so the original team can stash them on IR without losing them.31 teams respected that with #Rams OL Willie Lampkin. The #Eagles (Howie Roseman) broke tradition and claimed him."

Lampkin is now on the Eagles 53 man roster.

They thought highly enough of him to cut Treevor Keegan (their 5th round pick from 2024) who is a pretty good OL from U of Michigan.
Yet another reason I’ll enjoy the Rams cleaning the Eagles’ clock this year.

Practice Squad numbers ... by position ... make sense.

Carrying seven DL, ten OL and 4 TEs is a bit heavy but just 3 RBs and especially just 9 DBs is kind of light.

Having two experienced RBs and four DBs on their Practice Squad makes sense. Particularly happy with the four DBs, as I think they all flashed. Can flex two PS players up for game-day; and can definitely see one of them being a DB ... maybe Ingle for Special Teams.

Wondering if the 16th, and final spot, may be a player cut from another team.

Not as much as the other three. Presley, Bowles and Valcarcel are probably in the second group I'd like.
Well, we only got one of the first three I wanted (Schrader yes, Paul and WLampkin no), but at least we got all three of my second tier.
