Bring Faulk in to coach him up, the man refused to fumble. I am not ready to see the Rams give up on Williams but for the time being I would not use him in critical game situations until he improves his ball security.
Like it or not Kyren Williams is the Rams second best weapon this year. He scores that touchdown instead of fumbling at the one and there would be nobody on this board that would disagree. He was as devastated by that fumble as we were and I’m looking for him to more than make up for it this year. So I don’t see any reason to question him as our second biggest weapon this year. I think a bigger issues are our kicking game and our CBs.

Thats the thing, its not a guessing game, its factual. McVay drafts RB every year, brings in UDFA every year and has signed veteran RB when he wanted something extra. Since McVay came aboard he's had 21 different RB carry the ball for the team and outside of Gurley, nobody comes remotely close to the production Kyren has given. McVay plays who he thinks helps the most and if it was so easy, he'd have moved on already.
I get the frustration with the fumbles but I cant comprehend how his success can be ignored or minimized.
And if Vinobitch calls the personal foul penalty, we have the ball at the half yard line. F....K..... Vinobitch - such an asshole. Someone needs to step on Vinobitch's foot and cause a sprain ankle right before he is going to ref a Ram game.
Zebras can’t even see obvious false starts in real time on a damn butt plug play how they gonna see a head punch in real time down in the trenches.
I would bet that Mcvay will have Kyren on a short leash for a while. If he fumbles again soon... I think Mcvay will definitely reduce his carries. And why not?
No, they didn’t and he absolutely needs to work on his hands. But generally, when he’s had carries this year, he’s made the most of them, and none of his problems are unfixable.

Corum has shown some things, but, has dropped passes and had an even worse fumble vs the Whiners that took at least 3 points off the board.
He won't play a young RB like Hunter is they are not ready for pass protection.
Its Kyren.
He has more fumbles, I believe (11) going back to last year. So, it is a real issue.
He has sort of entered Cleveland Gary territory where everytime he gets into traffic, you sort of hold your breath.
But, he has been very, very productive.
He also often and create positive plays when the blocking isn't there.
He isn't a perfect back, but, he's a damn good back.
I don't see much of a change going forward.
I don't disagree with your post at all. Kyren is a very good back but we really won't know how good Corum or Hunter will be until they get a chance to be the bell cow. Corum was off to a great start until the last game. He is basically still a rookie, since he's had so few carries. I agree Kyren is still #1 but how many more mistakes until Mcvay tries something else.

If the Rams get behind or if Stafford is hot, McVay foregoes the run a lot of the time, as we all know.
If Kyren is getting 15 carries a game, that means maybe 10 for Corum?
Most of the matchups there to exploit will be outside, so, the Rams pass a lot.
So it goes.
I don't disagree with what your saying but, if Corum is displaying bad hands and fumbled too....why would he get more time?

I'll still question him in critical moments and sweat it out until he proves otherwise. Yes he's a big weapon but he should lose some (I'm not saying bench or a lot of touches) in key moments or just run a damn pass play. Kyren has proven he will probably fumble in key moments.

I dont give Kyren a pass on his fumbling issues overall, but I do give him a pass on that play. He got his clock cleaned. Should have been a penalty
Do we think that the hit to the head that essentially caused Kyren to fumble should have been flagged? I'm honestly unsure. Had he grabbed his facemask, yes, but, punching a helmet during a play, I'm genuinely curious about.

No one gets remotely close because no one else is actually getting the carries like Kyren. It is a guessing game if you literally give the ball to one back and pretty much nothing to others. Of course that's a McVay choice but can't see results without opportunity. He could also pull Kyren during key moments to further prove he's not taking this careless bullshit fumbling problem as a small issue. Kyren knew he had a fumbling issue yet it literally looks like he hasn't worked on it. Is it cuz he knows McVay will just plug him back in anyways? And for people pointing out Corum's fumble, shouldn't he get a chance to run it again if Kyren is getting that? Dude popped off a 13 yard gain and was never heard from again. That's just weird to me personally. It's obvious Corum has more juice than Kyren where Kyren has a bit more vision and can usually push for a few extra yards. We technically should be using both. I'd just change up Kyren getting those key runs to someone else or a pass play.

Possible, but I highly doubt it if he had 2 hands on the ball. Its football tho, you should expect to be hit anywhere. I mean why wear helmets if you don't expect to get hit in the head every now and then.
You're talking in circles, Kyren gets the carries because out of the immense stable of RB's McVay has assembled over the years, Kyren out produced all of them. Its not a guess, its an absolute fact.
Kyren has scored a ton of TD's on runs like that one, and I dont recall where he fumbled in that position before. He's exactly the guy they want there and if not for a fluke punch out, they take the lead and Kyren has a 3 TD monster game.
Sure would be nice to have a crystal ball that tells us when something like that is going to happen, be it a sack, INT, fumble, missed coverage etc
