Yeah they need to give Hunter a lil run every now and then. Can't ever truly know what a player has if they get zero run. Maybe we'll see him one day. I'm hoping we personally see more Ferguson. Just him catching that pass showed me this kid can be a mismatch if we actually utilize him.
Definitely. Ferg needs to be in on redzone plays. He certainly has a superior catch radius then every TE we play.

Also, Hunter is one of the missing pieces we have lacked for years, a back that can take it to the house every play. Have to give him some touches for that alone.

I am strongly in favour of working in Hunter as well, but apparently, he had a fumble issue in college? I read that somewhere. Why do Rams even draft fumble prone RBs? Williams had bad ball security at Notre Dame too. Take them off the draft board. No 3rd or 4th or 5th round talent - and that is where we are drafting these guys - is worth leading the NFL in turnovers. But I do want to see what Hunter can do. Give him a chance before passing judgment.

Maybe run Puka on more jet sweps, or do that WR screen we love so much. Its not Puka's fault if they can't get the ball in his hands in the RZ. Maybe scheme something else up. RBs are a whole different story because if you want them to take the rock, you just hand it off. You are trying to just win some weird ass argument about Kyren and shit on Puka in the process which is laughable as hell. Just for the record, I never once said to trade Kyren nor completely bench him either. I personally thought we were better off trading him (if possible) for draft capital to take Judkins (cheaper contract too) back in the draft. Once Kyren was re-signed, its obvious he was staying on the team as the starting RB so that obviously killed that thought. I'm in the camp of if he can't handle those important goal line scores without fumbling, try another RB at that moment or just throw the ball. Nothing worse than the back breaking turnovers he has been making all of us accustomed to.
I'm not trying to win some argument. I'm not shitting on Puka.

You clearly are arguing for the fact that you just hate Kyren period.

The facts are the facts. 35td for Kyren, second behind him has only 11td and they not on the team no more.

You need to understand that this team is losing not only just because of kyren.

well it’s a stupid question, because it has no relevance. I’d rather have tyler Warren than Higbee. So what?
Who would you rather have, Jefferson or Tutu?
Come on now! Would you rather have Tutu or Creed Humphrey :D Also has no relevance but it's brought up almost daily hahaha

Shit I just did it for today.

And dropped an easy one that would have been a huge gain, not a 53 yard fg miss, oh, and the costly fumble. He also could have been given a taunting call on both his TDs. Every time he fucking scores he acts like he's never been there before, childish shit we hate from other teams. I'm willing to sit him for a week to prove a fucking point, don't fumble the goddamn ball. If he loses another costly fumble this season, game deciding type, then show him the fucking door and roll with 2 higher draft choices. Stupid extension in my book, he had no leverage to sit out and the Rams simply paid him too early.
Mmm. OVERREACTION AND EMOTIONAL. THANKFULLY COACHES THAT KNOW BETTER MAKE THE DECISIONS AND NOT THE FANS.

Here's the problem that I see. McVay doesn't have many choices.

Corum has stone hands, just had a horrible fumble himself, is not nearly as good in pass pro, and in general has not taken the bull by the horns in showing that he could or should be RB1. Hunter is a rookie.

I don't see a way for McVay to punish KW.
There’s no way to punish Kyren without punishing the team and your chances to win. Derrick Henry has cost the Ravens a couple of games due to fumbles. The Ravens aren’t stupid enough to try to punish him. They know he’s going to win games for them.

Kyren is a distant 3rd.

Kyren's stats are a bit inflated by getting almost every snap, and particularly in scoring situations. He's used like more of a bell cow than almost any other RB in the NFL, despite his smaller stature and lack of explosiveness.
The reason Kyren gets the snaps is because he earned it.

People seem to have short memories I guess. Kyren came in and our run game immediately improved. So did our pass pro.

This was all well documented via threads and game film. No breakaway speed but he has great vision and ability to get skinny and hit the crease for positive yards more than any running back we saw in years. He also is excellent in pass pro and has really devloped as a pass catcher.

He is also excellent around the goaline and has earned the rock down there.

I don't hate Kyren at all, just don't think he was worth extending since I clearly stated many times on this forum that you extend elite backs. Kyren is good but he isn't elite. The only saving grace for his contract is that it didn't break the bank. Myself and many others wanted the Rams to wait for Kyren to prove that he improved his ball security prior to his extension. He obviously hasn't. Stating his TDs doesn't convince me because any RB starting for the Rams would get those opportunities, that's how McVay is running his offense. Would they get the same, worse, or better stats? Shit anyone can debate that all day because its a guessing game. Kyren has a fumbling problem and it happens at the worst times in games. He has contributed to our loses big time lately, but of course he isn't the only reason. The kicking game, our DBs, untimely drops, etc. However fumbling on the 1 yard line because he held onto the ball with one hand is displaying he obviously hasn't learned his lesson about being more careful with the ball. He should rightfully have some of those touches taken away not outright benched.

He also should be un-earning them if he continues to have a fumbling problem.

Sorry I’ll explain it to you. Ravens aren’t considering benching him. Ya get it? LOL
Damn didn't know you were an insider with the Ravens to know that.

Couple of things you're confusing what Rams fans are saying with the Ravens front office. You need me to explain the difference to you?

Secondly they don't have a backup that they invested a day 2 or higher pick on let alone 2 like the Rams do. Kind of makes a difference what the fans will say and think if they did.

Lastly maybe they should or at least give other backs more carries he had a whopping 2.2 ypc today with a long of 7.

Thank God you’re nowhere close to making that decision. The people that know football are handling it.
Hahaha so if we have an opinion you don't like, go with that classic cop out line. Football people aren't perfect and mistakes too. Some coaches stick with their players and some take touches away so I'm not saying anything unheard of or earth shattering. Thank God I don't take anything you just said too serious :laugh2:

Any Running back would get those opportunities? Really? I dont think so! Akers was never doing that! Michel didnt, Corum sure the hell cant! Hendo didnt! Kyren Matching, if not better numbers than S-Jax.

S-Jax had you guessed it 8 fumbles in 3 years, bench him? Gurley had 10 Fumbles in same amount of years as Kyren, Bench him too?

Go ahead and let Hunter have a turn, and when mcvay throws his ass on the bench along with Corum dont say anything!
