K-Will is his own player, much like ED, Marshall, S-Jax, and Gurley were their own players. I'm as big an S-Jax fan as anyone here (and yes, he should be in the fucking Hall), but I can admit that Kyren has better vision than S-Jax did, probably even better than Gurley's vision. Kyren has quickness and shiftiness as well, and I'm talking about small jump-cuts that give him space; I haven't seen a running back who consistently grinds out seven, eight, nine yards, just by giving himself space.
He still doesn't compare to Marshall. Marshall's vision and receiving ability amongst running backs was second to absolutely none. He had eyes in the back of his head, and could make so many people miss.
ED made it look easier than any other running back; as far as pure ability, he could carry a team on his back without any semblance of a quarterback, and that was rare, even for that time.
S-Jax was physical, powerful, had the heart of an absolute warrior, and yet, blazing fast for a man his size; he would never give up on a play, probably a better receiver than anyone except Faulk, and maybe Gurley.
Gurley was the closest to ED we've seen since ED, one of the freakiest athletes in the game in his prime, a gazelle on the field with a powerful build; I just wish he was healthy.
(Sorry, I don't count Jerome Bettis; I've always seen him as more of a Steeler than Ram.)
But the point is, K-Will, while he has been amazing for us this year, easily the second best back in the game behind CMC, is still not in the category of top backs yet, should not be compared to HOFers and people who should be in the Hall like S-Jax and backs like Gurley who have had multiple amazing years. It's his second year, his first year starting. Let's wait before we crown him as king; he's had just this year.

Alright dudes, I think we should all stop the personal attacks and name calling.
Trust me, I get caught up in it myself - so am also guilty - especially when someone else starts shit and disrespects other posters and it feels justified to throw it back at them. But reading insults is like wading through a bunch of dung. Not to mention it's not allowed and can get you banned.
But to the original arguement:
"Kyren runs harder than Faulk did. And his vision in the run game might be a tad better."
I think this is a reasonable statement, actually. Faulk is overall a Superior back with the WR skills and open field moves, but I could agree Kyren at this stage runs harder and has at least as good vision. They both had great vision, and Faulk especially in the open field. But Kyren's vision for the hole, behind the LOS is Elite and maybe better than Faulk and Kyren does run harder in my book. Faulk was a little more conservative in getting that extra yard or two. It may wear down Kyren sooner, however it is great for the team success in the moment.
Just my 2 cents.

Agreed on damn near everything except the bolded. I still think Faulk's vision behind the LOS and in the hole - vision period - was better than K-Will's, and I mean absolutely no disrespect to Kyren when I say this; Faulk's was like nobody we've ever seen, like nobody we'll ever see in the future.
