James Robinson or D’Ernest Johnson anyone?
D'Earnest Johnson as Robinson just recovered from an Achilles as well. Much rather we go after Hunt or even Jacobs but not sure if either is even available. We need o-line and edge help too apparently. Can Tutu set an edge?

I realize Cam bailed on that block when Edwards got beat and Stafford got crushed but, in my estimation, I believe Cam may have thought (for a split second) he could be a "check down" receiver. I just don't believe he bailed because he didn't want to block.
I'm wondering who he thought was going to pick up that pass rusher if he wasn't going to do it. Stafford never would've had time to get him the ball even if he was looking his way.

You know I love your opinions, but this is one I disagree with. Henderson has starter attributes IMO… but it is fair to question if he has starter durability.

His hands are great. He runs good RB routes. As a runner he is fairly shifty and has surprising/decent power. He has strong hands, doesn’t fumble. His protections are solid. There is a lot to like about his game.

I don’t know if I’d call it shit… but… The RB depth was a concern of mine out of camp. I like Funk, but not as a running back.

It feels like, at some point, we might need to do something here. The good news we are probably okay for now… but as teams start to feel their way options might come available.
Was Sony available? He went through a training camp & knows The Rams offense? He worked last season, but what happens to Funk & roster spots?

Agree with HENDO. He is SO UNDERRATED. What Thursday showed is what I’ve been basically saying.

1.HENDO is not an every down RB that is going to be your #1 RB,but he does everything well in all (pass, routes, blocks) phases.
He came back in The SuperBowl & helped The Rams win it all. His 3rd down catch I’ll never forget.

2. Cam Akers is afraid or doesn’t want to pass block? His efforts are what Merlin said. Dog-do. He will find his way ,but who knows after his knee injury if he ever comes back 100% from his knee injury.
—I was a Johnathan Taylor Fan & wanted to trade up for him.I think when he slipped The Rams could have traded up. Van Jefferson being hurt The Rams offense. -T. Lewis caused a fumble, but that would have been enough to have got him imo. Not going against The Rams choice.Just saying it was an option.

Williams is a smaller back, but in 2023 he replaces D. Henderson.Who know what 2022 is going to bring?

All I know is that I would not like to be him watching film with the coaches on this play. There was no way Stafford had time enough for him to run a few yards and then catch a pass, when the Dlineman was barreling toward their multimillion dollar QB and franchise player,

And something is not right with Cam.
Not buying McVay story
ya he looks like he's forgotten how to keep his legs going upon 1st contract...Hate RBs that stop running on contract

I'll say first that Stafford did not play well at all. He was part of the problem. But looking at this offense over the course of this upcoming schedule he is going to get killed behind this line and with these RBs pass blocking.

There is no way he's going to be able to stay healthy. Barring them making enormous strides in the next couple games in pass pro.

No, he didn’t play well….but what QB does well under constant pressure with little protection?
