.

fuck sitting them. they're getting paid $70m for this season. go and earn that money losers.

.
This 100%.

I can't shake my head at the idea that players who can play would sit to get 100%. The millions of dollars paid for them to entertain us and they sit? Wait until next year to be extra safe?? LOL.....daaaamn! With that logic it would be best for the Rams to stop playing football until next year so that the coach and all players can relax and get it all together for next year.

It always starts like this then the MRI shows a break or high ankle sprain or worse. Wolford was way high with his passes yesterday exposing several receivers to potential injury. After the first pass that sailed on Wolford he should have been replaced with Perkins and then switch to a run game plan.

All Wolford did was float passes all day. Those are hospital balls and McVay should have given Perkins a lot more playing time. At minimum, he doesn't float every pass and can use his legs. My guess is a high ankle sprain and we might not see Kupp again this year

Unfortunately Perkins tends to only throw 5 to 10 yard passes.

But he also has the threat of using his legs and doesn't float every pass. IMO, the 2nd half should have featured him more. It was pretty clear to everyone that Wolf wasn't going to get it done.

yeah people trippin that want perkins... he is worse than wolford.

He is only marginally faster as well... no thanks

Hard for me to blame wolford for a guy rolling into the back of kupps legs out of bounds.

Kupp is a stud but he has only played in every game 2 seasons of his career - he tends to get injured.

It's football so everyone is injured a bit at some point. Difference is some fight thru it and some just can't cuz the injury is that bad He's not as injury prone as your post makes it seems when you consider how times he's touched the ball and taken hits, but he is a stud though as you say.

Seen reports he will miss some time but is in the 2-4 week range but mostly from rumor or non verified (if there's even such a thing as verified on twitter anymore) accounts so not going to bother posting them.

Doubt the outcomes would be different with or without Kupp. We're not winning many games if any at all. Best to make sure he's fully healed.

Not saying I’m thrilled about it but a lot of successful- okay QB’s do that as well. Jimmy G-String being one of them. At this point if Perkins can just stop the bleeding and be average I’d be all about it! Lol

Dude with this OL he won't have time to throw it any deeper and you are wrong. He's got good accuracy and as much velocity on his passes out to 15-20 yards as Wolford. Perkins deep accuracy is better as well. He's got better mechanics and accuracy along with good mobility.

Perkins adds another dimension to the offense that the defense must account for. He's a legitimate threat to run and he's a scrambler in the backfield.. Maybe he's a tier-two QB but watch his preseasons from the last 2 years. With this OL a mobile QB is another weapon instead of a liability. IMO he's a better #2 QB than Wolford.

I watched all of the preseason games and I just wasn't thrilled about his arm strength.

His running ability is awesome but he doesn't have much zip behind his passes.

But yeah I think he would probably do better than Wolford.

I would agree with giving Perkins a shot at this point if Stafford isn't cleared. I was willing to give Wolford a chance but the Cards aren't exactly a powerhouse and he missed a lot of big plays down the field throughout the game and I'm not even talking about all of the over throws. Several deep shots were there to be had.

I don't know if Perkins is better... frankly I'd describe him as a more dynamic, elusive runner but about the same arm talent wise as Wolford. Neither are going to blow you away with tight rope zingers or long bombs. But the difference would come down to decision making ability which is what truly makes someone a NFL QB. Perkins has shown some nice playmaking instincts against lesser competition, might as well see if it translates to the next step at this point.

I would give it a shot if Stafford still isn't ready.

Perkins has shown in his time with the team he doesn’t have NFL level arm talent. If they thought he was a better choice Wolf wouldn’t be on the team.

The first drive he threw the ball well. Problems started when the Cards started getting pressure.

Not sure what you’ve been watching but the last two preseasons do not show what you’re selling. Perkins does not have as strong an arm as Wolford.

Evidence of this is McVay clearly not trusting him to throw the ball, or start over a below average Wolford

lets try to keep this about Kupp and not go on a tangent with our back up wannabe QB's
