So the Cards front office rewards the GM and Coach with new 5-year extensions, after mediocre seasons mind you, and then fires them 9 months later. And, they also gave their overrated QB a ton of guaranteed money. What a sad organization. The Cards will be bottom-dwellers as long as their ownership group remains the Bidwells. So happy to have Stan as owner. Look what happened to the Rams when a former stripper took over. That is where the Cards are at. I almost feel bad for their fans. Almost.

Wow, Asshole Face now for the Deadbirds?

I can see Kingsberry being offered a position on our staff as OC.

McVay gets his guy and comes back with Stafford for another run. A fully healthy Akers and hopefully a healthy offensive line. I'm all for it.

Is he really that bad or was it the spoiled midget he had to deal with that messed things up?

We should hire him as OC and if McVay leaves then consider him. Lots of people on here are down on him but I think he would be good with McVay as OC and maybe invigorate Sean some.
Consider him for what, Waterboy?
He stinks as a head coach, even back in college.

He's living in the 90s thinking the Air Raid is a viable NFL offense. Could he be better calling plays in McVay's offense?

His offense usually worked but only for half a season. It's been a while since I've seen a team consistently collapse mid-season like Kliff's Cardinals

I see Kliff coming in to replace Coen.

If McVay stays, were gonna get Kliff, IMO. McVay went after him hard a couple years ago to get him on staff, and their both good buddies.

He's not a bad OC.

Remember the Rams had Brian Shittenheimer at one point!!

Lovie Smith has been fired as well. Assuming Raheem goes elsewhere I'd be all for getting Lovie back as D-coordinator.

Assuming McVay is lurking around the organization in some capacity next year, absolutely get KK - just not as an actual play caller. Maybe use him as another consultant or some sort of blended/deluxe version of Jay Gruden & Greg Olson.

Going back to college, KK has a pretty good record for the first 7 games of the season, including a 7-0 streak at the NFL level. Coaching is a 12 month a year thing and those decent starts suggest that KK is doing something right in the off-season. I think he's got something to add to the room and I get the feeling that KK might be one of the few people in the business that McVay might respect and actually listen to. Another voice can't hurt (unless he's a McVay sycophant, which I'm assuming he's not).

The Rams have an annual brain drain and having KK around adds a disposable brain and/or someone to help out in the future. I'm going with the Saban strategy of you can never have too many washout HCs on staff doing something.

Save a seat for him in the car, just don't let him drive. If he somehow gets to the wheel, make sure it's one of those driver's ed cars with the second steering wheel and brake pedal on the passenger side, manned by McVay.

I don't get it. If he's a bad coach why would anyone want his advice?

Why would we want the guy who Card fans are singing the hallelujah chorus over his departure?

Just freakin' no!

I mean we had Rob Boras running this offense once upon a time how bad could Kliff really be? The problem is actually Kyler Murray he has shitty work ethic and isn’t that good Cards fans should be punching air that they got to continue to deal with his antics…

Bruhhh. If you think Raheem Morris had hate threads, wait until Lovie brings his 2000s era Tampa 2.

Why do we have to settle for either?

We don’t need to settle for anything, but atleast there are options available.
I think McVay has a better handle on the abilities of new coaches in the college ranks and the NFL, than we do. I'd rather have one of these than Kliff.

He's a terrible coach, wish he could have stayed in Arizona
Was almost as big of a joke as Jeff Saturday getting a HC gig
Kingsbury was so bad at Tech, who had only 1 losing season in its previous 20 seasons, yet Kliffy had 4 losing seasons in 6 years! And this while having Davis Webb, Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes at QB
But he did have that snappy look about him
