McVay's coaching tree keeps growing. Wonder if we'll go outside the organization with a guy like Greg Olson or Jay Gruden or if we'll promote from within with a guy like Thomas Brown. O'Connell coached Kirk Cousins in Washington, and the Vikings have a talented roster. I wouldn't be surprised if he's another success from Sean's tree.

I’d love either Olson or Gruden. Under Olson, both Bulger and Jackson had career years in his one season as Rams OC. Gruden is great at scheming strong run game and he’s obviously close with McVay. Both prob won’t be looked at as HC either.

O'Connell has been fantastic for us, I'm glad he's getting a shot. Mcvay blocked him from going with Staley last year so it's cool that that paid off for him and he gets a chance to lead a team.

Brown seems like a good internal option for Offensive Coordinator. Possibly Phillips.
