0.01% chance Nacuas camp agrees to less than JSNs contract terms. As the best WR currently in the NFL I expect a slight bump for Nacua.
The Rams could argue that JSN was offensive player of the year and state that he should be paid a little lower (not much).

And who would actually buy that logic? The die is cast. Don't fuck around. Sign him at slightly higher than JSN or a fully guaranteed contract and move on. I can see where they may see a guaranteed contract with the way Puka plays as being risky but it seems to be something you're just going to have to do.

Ugh. Really hoped we would be first on the extension. This is the hags giving us the middle finger.
or ... just being a really smart organization

Schneider and the Seahawks are right there with the Rams (Snead, McVay and Demoff).

I understand they are a hated-rival but Seattle handles it's business really well.
With their two first round picks in 2023, the Seahawks may have the best WR and the best CB in the NFL.
Nacua and McDuffie are right there but Seattle has made some great personnel decisions ... like the Rams.

The Seahawks trade to get a high 2nd round pick for Emmanwori in last year's draft for a late 2nd and late 3rd was a tremendous move. Emmanwori is outstanding; and the two players Tennessee drafted with the acquired picks (Oluwafemi Oladejo and Kevin Winston) had limited success in their rookie seasons.

Doubt it really changes what Puka was ultimately going to get by much. Already knew Puka would easily break 40 mil plus per year. Its simply the going rate which is fucking crazy but thats the NFL I guess.

I wish Puka had been extended first. Guessing he will want to reset the market.

I think he will take a little less. Not much.

Maybe $41M per year.
Guys, it's only a difference of like $1 mil. or so per year. We don't gain much by shorting him, and generosity can help us continue being a top player destination.

I say give him right above what JSN got.

Oh, the hawks are a well run organization, but, have to think they wanted to get ahead of us and Puka so that we would have to pay more. That has to be some of the motivation, even if its small.

And anyways, fuck them and the horse they rode in on.
