I can't see how this moron can hope to ever get reinstated...These guys are physically gifted, but still have to work very, very hard to get to the pot 'o gold that is the NFL...To just "piss it away" is beyond my capacity to understand...
 
You know, I'm pretty easy-going on the weed thing, and am virulently anti-prohibition, but to Josh Gordon, all I can say is ... Dude.

Ok, I can say more. As in:

"Dude, I gave up weed during my entire enlistment in the navy, where I often spent weeks, if not months, at sea, underwater in a submarine, where the pay received divided by the hours worked was below the federally mandate minimum wage ... and you can't even give it up for playing football for millions of dollars? Dude."

Reading some Browns boards there is discussion that this lessens their chances of taking a QB at #2 or even picking at #2. Trading down to add a couple picks and running with RG3 while using their picks to finally add some talent to the roster. Not my takes, though I can see their point and have argued it, just what I've read on a few boards.
 
Me too..I smoked some weed in High School, but then gave it up when I enlisted in the Navy,,,and then later when I was a professional driver for another 20 years. I didn't want to screw up my life, and made the decision to have a beer instead of a joint. You can go on a rant about how pot should be legalized, and that;s ok.. So Gordon wants to smoke pot, even though he knows it hasn't been ;legal to do (or allowed) since he's been alive...instead of lasting a few years while playing a kids game for multiple millions of dollars. I have no sympathy, you stupid fukk. Get used to the phrase "You want fries with that?" :deadhorse:

I smoked my last three years of college. I'd go home each summer and didn't touch it. After I graduated I smoked once in Texas on a trip to San Antonio. I don't understand what is so hard about not smoking pot. Whenever I see guys can't stop, my guess is that they abuse many different substances. Pot is just a side drug. A lot of other stuff can be much more hit or miss with a drug test. Pot can be detected for months. Narcotics can be gone in a few hours.
 
Poor kid is probably a victim of "No Child Left Behind".

LOL! If it had only been Jared Cook, he could of believably claimed he dropped the sample bottle in the toilet by accident and that's how it got diluted.

People seem to forget what a freak-up this guy is each year. They always wonder, "How much can it really hurt?" Well, the hurt will be trading a pick for a guy who is just going to get suspended again.

Rules are rules. And they don't have to be fucking fair.

You don't want him on this team. Per current rules he can't play.

Josh Gordon had one of the best single seasons in nfl history. He'll go down as a guy who couldn't play ball because he didn't play ball. I hear this story and I want society to change. I don't believe you feel the same Jerry.
