freaking spell check. I'm on my phone for a couple days. Supposed to be FA.

Yeah when I use voice to text I make sure that I look before I hit send.

It took a couple of embarrassing moments to get that message through to me LOL.

Assumption? How about that the Rams are willing to franchise Tru as reported? Top priority of his demands are reasonable, if he isn't going to be a team player he can go to a team with a crappy soooorting cast or a worse D line and we'll see how many MORE times his ass gets burned for TD's and big plays/first downs.
It IS an assumption. The report you are referring to is conjecture. The Rams may have zero intention to franchise Tru. We simply don't know yet and reporters are guessing just like usual.

I usually do. But this Samsung has some weird ass spelling ideas. It will change shit from a normal word or abbreviation to something I have never heard of.

I just didn't think it would change two letters to all caps fashion. I don't think I have ever typed that word yet I have used FAMILY many times. See? Wtf? It assumes you USE family? The last time it didn't even change it. I think they pull this shit on purpose.

Lmao, well at least it makes sense now. When I read your response I was just kinda like ... "ok?". Thought maybe it was some kind of code lingo I wasn't privy to so just left it alone.

And to answer your question, no there haven't been. But lets not bring facts into this please.

Who is Rand_Getlin and why do we think he/she/it knows anything about the inner workings of the Rams?

He is a reporter for NFL network. And I guess because he is a reporter who - ya know - covers the NFL for his full time living.

Doesn't mean he is right, but it's not like it's my college roommates tweet.

Yeah he totally has no clue then B/R is the real authority

And what do you think now? Tru getting the franchise.... Wow some people really do know the Rams :)

I'll actually be looking forward to JJ's next tweets..............lol
He's a millennial right? He probably had a few different tweet responses already drafted up depending on today's outcome. Each with it's own unique, clever, coded response. :)

Well they did have a 50/50 shot either way right?
Not really... It was more like 5/7.

Furthermore it was reported beforehand and when he generally reports things now a days they usually have a good % of being right.

I guess we won't be see Getlin on B/R or PFF any time soon.

On the bright side, this is a pretty good CB draft. Hell of a lot cheaper than 11 -12 a year.

Jenkins fired his agent Sunday and it's an NFL rule that he can't hire a new one for at least 5 days so the soonest we can start negotiating again is Friday. Personally, I'd up our offer to him to 5 years/$51 million and call it a wrap if he declines. Then he can test the market and either comes back if no one lavishes him with a top contract or some fool will over pay for him.

What's bugging me more than Jenkins is our inability to sign ANYONE so far. I was really hoping we could get McCleod and/or Barron resigned before free agency. Tru sounds like we won't let walk no matter what with some sort of tag whether franchise or transition.
Yeah, but you have to try to sign your priorities, and big money guys first, then you know how much is left in the money bag.

That it was an assumption. Maybe he had some info that you rarely see these guys have but still... Even a blind mouse finds a piece of cheese every now and then.

That aside, it does surprise me. It doesn't surprise me that they like Tru more than JJ. It doesn't mean they think Tru is actually more talented, just probably a better fit for what we want to do on defense AND - this to me is a big AND - Tru is not being a jackass, whining on Twitter, me first, look at me, 12 year old over the negotiations.

It will be interesting to see where JJ ends up. I have always thought he was a VERY good CB. But now it will truly be interesting to see how his antics shape his offers. Will other teams balk being that the Rams themselves valued Tru higher? Will they look at this and figure he is a cancer and not worth throwing big money at? Guess we'll see. JJ may have screwed himself.
