I can tell you guys that the Crab Legs were NOT stolen.
A little birdie with the inside scoop shared the story with me. That particular grocery store HAD a deal going with the football team. Many of the players could go there for things and not have to pay themselves. The items were paid for later by a willing booster. The team didn't want to be found in violation of NCAA rules. Swept under the rug.
You do realize he has been and still is under scrutiny for a sexual assault charge? That alone makes this behavior stupid. Some of these o kids just can't stay outof their own way.Lol, the over reactions to a college kid yelling "F*ck her righ in the P*ssy." I bet he wasn't the only one yelling it either.
I for damn sure never talked like that, ever.
Seems like a guy, who's basically interviewing for a multimillion dollar opportunity at every possible public encounter, wouldn't behave at like this. Add in the fact he is under investigation for a sexual assault, and he'd speak in such a tone says to me, something happened along the way during his child-rearing process. Phase...seems like something a lil more, given his stature and what he has to lose.Well, I got my ass beat with a ping-pong paddle growing up. I still went through a phase in college where I was getting drunk, acting out, and had several interactions with police (never arrested). That's what it is with MOST people, a phase. Nothing you can do about it.
Character & Intelligence surely....But somewhere he's gotten the impression that he is above, or greater than most and can say or do what he pleases. To weigh in on that I was spanked a handful of times by my father but it was nothing that ever left a mark and it was for real "offenses". I'm not sure if Winston would be acting like this if he had been spanked or not, who knows.
It's like V3 said, the body of work. If he lacks the mechanism to stop himself from doing this in a crowded student union I have to call his character and intelligence into question.
I've known of Jameis since the beginning of last year, like all of you, from the TELEVISION SET. And as I said, JMO, had he been properly disciplined, I doubt he would act like this. Seems like a cry for help with a heavy dose of lack of respect for females. Maybe he doesn't love his momma. I don't know, but this is what it seems like. How long have you know Jameis for? I'd of thought you being from LA, he being from Florida that you wouldn't have had much chance to talk, but it's cool that you know exactly how he was disciplined as a kid, you two must be pretty tight?

I hear ya ... I'm just saying .. .he ain't doing himself any favors and with how shit is going down in the NFL right now .... could cost him some $$$. He really isn't a kid anymore. He is a younf MAN and if he wants to be seen as a mature, leadership type guy ... he will need to think before he acts"Winston’s comments Tuesday, which were sexual in nature, played off a meme — a running gag, essentially — in which passers-by shout the phrase on live news broadcasts"

Sure, it wasn't smart to do, but it's a joke. I mean, honestly, who didn't do stupid crap during their college years?
@ReddingRam. I admitted that the rape allegations are MUCH more worrisome, but it's not like he did this with the intent to hurt himself.
I once had to sit out a whole baseball game in high school because I mooned the other player's bus on the way in. Stupid? Yes. But I didn't think of the consequences.

You think it's acceptable to do what he did? Am I reading that right?
History is once again forgotten. So true. It may just be the morality of this generation is far different than the last but I see nothing in this to be outraged at. It seems typical to me as a person that just graduated college.
Acceptable...depends on the standard. Acceptable in a business setting? No. Acceptable in a college setting? Yes. I've said far worse. Albeit, I never stood up on a table and screamed it. But I'm also not Jameis Winston and didn't want that sort of attention on me.
I'm a bit disappointed that you think it's acceptable to stand up on a table in a student union and yell "freak her in the pussy" repeatedly.
The standing up on the table is out of the ordinary but the line itself is not at all out of the ordinary for college males.
So I don't have an issue with it. If the line itself isn't egregious then the standing up on the table would have to be the issue and I don't think that's the issue here.
Fact of the matter is that we have no context for the line and it's already been pointed out that it's a reference to a video.
there is plenty of contact for the line and it's unbelievably crass and base and tasteless and for this guy to jump up on a table and start yelling it out in the middle of the student union is frankly unacceptable and he should be in more trouble than he is in
Crass and tasteless? Yes. Criminal? No. So outrageous it's worthy of condemnation? Also, no.
Hypothetical here, lets say he was at bar, he stood up on the bar(and we'll assume that the bar has no policy against this) and yelled to a friend who was walking out with a girl, "NOW, freak THAT BITCH!" "freak THAT BITCH!" "freak THAT BITCH!" while pelvic thrusting.
Would you consider that to be an issue comparable to this one? Would you consider that to be a major issue to his character?
I think the fact, as someone pointed out already, is that JW is in the public eye, and his future depends on his actions on and off the field.
If Saul T.Balls , on his way to an accounting degree, stood on a table and shouted the same thing, no one would care
