Nah, they could simply be waiting to see how the market unfolds. If he was 24 years old, then they’d have jumped all over it. But there is nothing wrong with waiting to see how the draft unfolds.
Who are the faster younger CBs though? We don't have any young premium talent at CB.
The Rams when healthy were pretty hard to throw on last season... why muck it up by squeezing in Ramsey he is not the player he once was. Find some talent in the draft. I just remember the drama he brought on the field by yelling at his teammates in the huddle. I didn't like that.
I see the Rams secondary last year differently. I don't believe they were hard to throw on. In fact, I recall them being about 20th in crucial pass metrics.

Not long ago McVay mentioned that had they made better decisions in free agency they could have kept Ramsey. It doesn’t sound like they couldn’t wait to get rid of him.
They cant afford to move him and pay a big part of his salary unless of course they are getting something of incredible value, like a 1st round pick
I'm assuming you don't remember the 2023 off season as much as the Rams were trying to work with the salary cap and that was one of the moves they had to do to get by. hence McVay's comment, since then things have changed, it's two years longer and he's had a meniscus issue. Father time is catching up with him and it makes zero sense trading for an old, expensive CB especially in our current situation where we have zero glaring holes going into the draft.
