Forbes college scouting report had his weight listed at 166. For a six foot guy that is very thin. Now he's listed at 180. Still thin but better. If he could add 10 or 15 pounds without losing speed that would be ideal. The guy was a first round pick for a reason. Talent is there. And he seems to have bought into the culture with the team. Hopefully we found ourselves a gem at very low risk.

There’s no doubt 6’ 166 lbs is extremely thin. At 6’ 180 lbs, he’s taller than (but approximately same weight as) Lampkin, Durant, Jolly and Woods. He’s probably never played at 180 - so before looking for a magic number for additional weight - it makes sense to see how he does at his current weight.

Also - using Donald as example. I believe he was initially marketed as 6’ 1”/290 lbs when he was likely closer to 6’/260lbs. Rams let him decide his playing weight rather than beefing him up to 300. It was his optimal playing weight and he was playing GOAT level NFL football so no need to mess with it.

I hope you're kidding, haha. You DO realize that this forum autocorrects the Washington team name to Commodes, right? Also corrects the Broncos head coaches name to a more proper one. Try it, it's fun......for most of us anyway.

Asshole Face!!!!
I made a post in the Forbes thread. I found out later that the team name was changed ....... I was not aware of this. I didn't think it was cool.

AD weighed 285lbs at the combine, and if you look at the old videos he was carrying more fat than he does now. I don't think the Rams ever updated his weight from those official combine numbers.

It makes me wonder what would happen if he participated in the combine again. Probably a faster 40 and drills. If love to see him come in to the next combine like the Deion Sanders commercial (with a giant Afro wig and a huge fake mustache).

Introduce him as "Darren Arnold" and watch him post the top combine numbers in the DT position group from retirement.

Best weight gaining food?
When working with baseball players and trying to get them to bulk up there were a couple of "non fast food" options I would have them add to help gain weight.
Honey roasted peanuts and milk snacks.
Get some protein and calories half a jar of peanuts a day, a couple handfuls at a time with a glass of whole milk.....so half a jar of the peanuts and 4 glasses of whole milk was an easy to consume (not too bulky or a massive amount of food) and would add 1880 calories (1280 peanuts/600 milk) and 88 grams of protein to their existing diet pretty easily.
Taking a kid who is not eating enough, say....1600 calories a day....adjusting that diet up to about 2600 calories then adding the nut/milk snacks and a shake could pretty easily bump up calorie intake to about 5000 a day.
Anyone have any "non junk food" weight gainer tricks?
Steak and taters
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Beef and spaghetti
Homemade pizza

Nope, not kidding. I think its dumb and childish.
The Rams have to play other NFL teams.
Grown men calling opposing teams every.....single time some takeoff of their team name a 15 year old boy might say is ridiculous.
I mean, once in awhile but every single time.......
I want what I post to be actually what I post, letter for letter.
I refer to them as WFT (Washington football team). I actually dug that name because it sounded like a cool throwback which could not incite any criticism. It’s also faster/easier to type.

I knew a guy who went to prison and came back huge when released a year later. I asked him how he did it and he said exercise, no drugs, and lots of mayonnaise.

I never was sure if he was serious about the Mayo or if that was code for another substance.

Looks like we are getting all the Redskin funk off of him! He’s turning into a Ram!
There we go! Someone using the proper name. Though when I was stationed in the D.C. area during the Gibbs era, the fans were insufferable, and we referred to them as the foreskins.

As for the term Redskin being derogatory to American Indians, any poll ever done suggests differently. Most saw/see it as an honoring of their people. Heck, I’m not insulted being called Pale Face. Just don’t call me foreskin. :laugh1:

When I was working out in college, I gained weight by going to the college cafe almost every day, and ordering a double cheeseburger, lg fries and a 32 oz (!) milk shake. Went from 5'11 140 lbs to 175 lbs and could max 225 on bench.
Those were the days...

Cool, he is not a stick figure anymore.
Feels way stronger and faster.
I will drink some Kool-Aid.
But........."Staff Writers" do not call NFL teams Commodes.
You are supposed to be a pro, not some guy on a message board.
