RAMS WIN, RAMS WIIIIIIIN!!!!

So many good things to talk about, but I think the best part is that there's football again - and it was a dominant preseason win with little injuries (thus far)!

Good win tonight.

Only thing I am concerned about are our CBs.

Not sure we have any good ones starting and the backups are just so so at best.

Heck - I think Kendrick played the best of them.

almost all positive tonight...

great game from bennett... what i liked most about him was his unwillingness....

his unwillingness to take the checkdown,,,,

it was a fuckit, i'm letting go performance... awesome...

running game...

i think corum did pretty good tonight... not sure what others saw that disagree...

i loved schrader (spelling?)... but i have to adjust my enthusiasm after my spruce overdose...

lets see him next week and the week after against the 2's. instead of the camp bodies...he's gonna get his chance after tonight...

2cd string defense in the beginning, played like starters ...

so did the backup o-line...

our depth was on display...

go rams

Yes. It was still preseason and Dallas does not have good depth, nor are they well coached. It’s nice to be excited but you are right. We should keep things in perspective. I couldn’t watch it but I will tonight on NFL network.

I feel much better about QB 3 (Bennett) if Stafford in unable to last this season. Our running game looks like it will be a definite strength this year.

It is Cody Shrader and he was really, really good in college. He has incredible instincts. He just gets the game. If he had a better RAS score he would be pushing for real gameday reps. I imagine he will be stuck behind our draft picks and wont get an actual chance, then will get demoted and picked up by someone else. That said, he is already 25. Wish him well.

@Memento is a big supporter of his as well.

Did Hunter get any reps last night? Schrader shredded last night, if he keeps that up and Hunter is penciled in as a starter already...doesn't look good for Corum.

If you never watched Shraeders highlights at Mizzoui please do, he is tough as nails and plays hard. Give it a look.

It was nice to not be frustrated watching the Rams backups. The depth looks good and deep, but the Cowgirls have a lot of injuries, lack of depth and we all know the coach sucks. So while the game was more fun to watch than any 1st preseason game ever, I will wait to crown them.

As a Mizzou fan, Schrader's one of the best running backs we've had in the 21st century, if not the best - and we've had guys like Henry Josey, Russell Hansbrough, Tyler Badie, Marcus Murphy, Tony Temple, and many others in the 21st century.T Walked on from Truman (a D3 Missouri college) after setting basically every rushing and receiving record there. Earned a scholarship after his junior year. Senior year? First-team consensus All-American, First Team All-SEC (led the conference in rushing), the first player in SEC history to have 200 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in a game, set the Mizzou single season rushing yards record.

He's not the biggest or fastest running back, but he's shifty, has excellent vision and patience, is elusive in space, can catch with the best of them, has a history of returning kicks, and does all of the little things right.

I hope we don't cut him. He's the perfect fourth back for our system.

I hope they find a way of keeping him but it's going to be tuff. 6 WRs ,4 TEs and 4 RBs?

We'd have to keep less defenders and less offensive linemen (although my preference is dealing Parkinson and rolling with three tight ends, I don't think the Rams would do that). But yeah, there's going to be some really tough 53-man decisions, and we're going to possibly see some guys that we love get cut and succeed on other teams. That's the price of greatness.

Agreed he caught my eye his senior year. Not just because of his impressive stats but because of the burst and effort I saw from him when I Occasionally saw his highlights.
