I've come around to I *might* watch it.

I'm a little bummed right now.

I thought I read on HBO MAX that Godzilla vs Kong was gonna be on the service as of Jan 29th... now it's March 31st. Maaaaan, I'm so pumped to see that.

But it'll be worth the wait.

In the meantime, I might use that time to do my overdue post Stafford Mock... hmmm... mebbe...

Well, my wife and her family are Chiefs fans, so is my boss and my daughters best friends entire family.

Its pretty bizarre really. Just how many chiefs fans surround me while they are on top of the world.

Especially since they all live by me in here in Texas.

So yea, Happy wife happy life.

and Happy boss.... oh you know the thing.

I looked back at the last 10 Super Bowl games, and I noticed there was only 2 of them of where I truly didn't care or got upset at the outcome:

Packers/Steelers and Panthers/Broncos.

Every other year had some combination of the Patriots, shitbirds, or forty shitters. We even had a SB that had Patriots vs. shitbirds my gawd. Now if it's not that, it's seeing Tom Brady's face again. Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette. Talk about the douche crew.

The Bucs as a franchise, the logo, etc don't bother me. A lot of their players do. I don't want them to win. I do like players like Devin White, Chris Godwin, JPP, etc.

I'm pretty neutral on Chiefs success. What annoys me is that they pretty much coasted during the final weeks of the season while the Rams seemed like they had to fight an uphill battle every game. Also, Steve Spagnolo could win his FOURTH Super Bowl ring.

I'll watch it for sure b/c we won't see football for 8 months, but yeah gotta admit my interest is not as high as it normally is. We'll see during the game when I fist pump whenever pretty boy Tommy gets sacked or Patrick Mahomes makes Ndamukong Suh his bitch.

I'm also really worried about the commercials last year. I hope there's not too many sappy feels commercials. The world needs humor. We already know Pepsi, Bud, and the Avocado won't have any this year. We'll see. Hopefully we get a couple new movie trailers at least.

Except for wanting to see Brady and the Bucs get beat down I’m not really interested.

I was pulling for a Bills v Rams show.

I'm gonna smoke a big pork butt for some pulled pork. I'll have some kickass southern coleslaw that I'll load right onto my pulled pork sandwiches. No BBQ sauce is even necessary thanks to the unbeatable rub I just got from @RamFan503 .

I'm also going to have 2 giant troughs of collard greens and mac n cheese.

In between bites I'll be screaming for vicious sacks on Tampon Tom and provide constant insults to Arians.

Massive quantities of rum will wash this down for me. This food group blends perfectly with the rum and constant obscenities. Topped off with periodic bong swats during the commercials... or maybe I'll call em super bowls.

It's gonna be a party.

All I know is that if the Bucs were to win, I wont be able to watch any sports for at least a month because I wont be able to stomach the TB12 lovefest

I will watch the game. Prepare a nice spread. The usual deal.

Last chance for football until the late Summer and looking forward to it.

But... it sort of feels like the Rams won the Superbowl, having stole the spotlight with the Stafford trade. :D

:ROFLMAO: My exact thoughts man! I have nearly forgotten about it for the first time in my football fandom. I have nothing against Mahomes and the Chiefs, however I would like to not watch one team/player that was a thorn in the leagues side for 20 years hand off directly to the next 20 year thorn in the nfl's side. I just don't want to watch the same players/teams in the SB every year and this one is like...ugh. That said of course I'm rooting for the Chiefs. I'm so sick of Brady, but whats worse is he brought that freaking douche of a human Antonio Brown along for the ride with him. Disgusting.

I have no hype for the Super Bowl but I'll enjoy my Sunday watching it with friends since it's a rare occasion getting together with them these days.

I'm not going to watch it.

Sick of all this, "GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME" crap.

How can both of them be the best ever?

I'm definitely watching the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Super Bowl XXXIV that is!

All I care about is the Bucs - and Brady and Arians especially - losing. Mahomes and Reid are easy to root for (even if Tyreek Hill and Damien Wilson aren't. Fuck Wilson especially; the creep tried to hit on my sister.)

Imagine if that happens and having to live in Tampa... The entire off-season will be gross

I am hearing there may be a Wheel of Time TV Show trailer during the Superbowl

I am super pumped to see that show when it comes in May/June (I think).

For anyone who have never heard of this book series, it is considered one of the best (even possibly the best) fantasy series ever written.

Extremely minor spoilers that some people don't want to know so stop reading if you are one of those people

I am not good with hiding spoilers if a moderator wants to edit this

There are faults with it - 14 fricken books and 1 prelude book - so super ass long ass series

Two - the pacing can be quite slow at times until the latter third of each book (sometimes he got so into super detail that cmon Jordan - get going) and he would remind people of past things quite frequently. He did it on purpose since it was usually one or two years between books.

Three (somewhat bigger spoiler) - there is a slog that some say starts book 7 but most say starts book 8 thru Book 10. Yes it is a slog. The pacing was so slow sometimes in these books and book 10 was pure hell for me to get through.

However, books 11 thru 14 more than make up for this slog.

I have a feeling the series will completely minimize these slogs in a couple episodes if not entirely.

There are other faults with it but would be bigger spoilers so won't go into them.

Okay sorry for the Segway.
