I'm only speculating and have no factual basis for my opinion. But I believe my thoughts are believable.
Why would AD still have kept himself in top physical shape (for pro football) aside from actual live contact drills (which I believe he is trying out now) other than leaving the window open for a possible comeback under the right conditions? He joked last year that he would think about if Micah Parsons had signed with the Rams.
I think Donald announces his return on Wednesday 7/22/26.
Well Rex Ryan was wrong.I think Donald announces his return on Wednesday 7/22/26.
Does he have to WAIT longer now to get into The HOF & does he beat Torry Holt into the Hall of Fame ?
Simms brought up a good point. If you're not sure, then don't do it. I agree. The thing is, if he is sure, why would he give Simms the scoop? This has gone on so long now.........7 weeks + since the Rams traded for Myles Garrett.......how could he NOT be sure, either way? I feel if he was sure he wasn't going to come back, he would have said it already.
I like the So Ram version better. So much more character and humor while making you work to comprehend.Fortunately AI can crack SoRam code…
Ladies and gentleman I give you SoRam translated…
Here’s a cleaned-up “translation” of what they’re getting at:
Who knows anymore — the world’s dealing with bigger problems these days, and somehow the Rams remind me of it.
Still better than watching porn: imagine catching Robert Kraft in Florida again — at least last time it was allegedly with an older woman. Speaking of massages, gotta keep this football-related, so… a Deshaun Watson-style massage joke.
At least the Patriots actually got investigated and punished — lost draft picks for cheating (Spygate/Deflategate).
Now imagine if someone filmed the actual “Greatest Show on Turf” Rams practicing back in the day — Warner, Bruce, Faulk, Holt, Pace, Timmerman, Little (well… maybe not him, given his history), Williams, etc. That’d be something to watch.
Anyway, I’m putting myself through Rams training camp next week. Not sure how I’ll survive it. My biggest worry is picking the right SPF — 30 or 50 — can’t just wing it, and definitely can’t go in “bulletproof” unprepared.
Hopefully the young camp staff/interns helping an old guy like me out of the car don’t get me so excited I embarrass myself, and that my sunscreen doesn’t melt down my face in the heat.
’ll try to keep myself in check — can’t really afford anything else at this point.
BTW — Aaron Donald (AD99) is NOT going to be anywhere near training camp.
So: crude, self-deprecating humor riffing on Kraft/Watson/Patriots scandals, then rambling excitement (and nerves) about going to Rams training camp next week, capped with a joke shutting down the AD unretirement rumors.
Sims saying he’s been around the game and understands what motivates he’s coming from a completely different level than Donald. 9 years for 3000 yards 12 TDs/18 INTs sounds like somebody who carried a clipboard and hung around for a paycheck. That’s a completely different dude than Donald.Simms brought up a good point. If you're not sure, then don't do it. I agree. The thing is, if he is sure, why would he give Simms the scoop? AD could “not be sure” about things like compensation, timing to return, training camp mandatory or not etc. Things like that.Simms brought up a good point. If you're not sure, then don't do it. I agree. The thing is, if he is sure, why would he give Simms the scoop? Can't speak for Donald, but if I'm 35 years old and absolutely hate training camp there's no way in the world I'm making an official announcement until after camp is over.Simms brought up a good point. Well THAT would be a first.Simms brought up a good point.
I agree his understanding of what might motivate a sure first ballot hall of famer to come back can't possibly be on the same level as Aaron Donald. But let's be fair. He has been around the NFL since he was a kid and then later as a player. So he's seen a helluva lot more than you or I from an inside vantage point. The guy played with a ruptured spleen IIRC, so I got some respect for him.Sims saying he’s been around the game and understands what motivates he’s coming from a completely different level than Donald. 9 years for 3000 yards 12 TDs/18 INTs sounds like somebody who carried a clipboard and hung around for a paycheck. I'm definitely not in as good a shape as I was last time I was at TC. Been battling health issues that have kept me out of the gym for almost 2 years.wonder Ram Balls shape after the last 4 years. Hopefully he is keeping Yoked & not getting that belly interference.
