Thank you for saying that. The way AD is such a pro, I can't believe there's people thinking he'd actually come back midseason or the back half of the season. AD has historically shown he doesn't half ass anything.

Heard a rumor AD signing coming extremely soon. A buddy of mine says he knows someone in the know that relayed this info. I'm not sure how concrete it is but at least I'll see how on point or not this buddy is. To his credit, he's taken a pic with Demoff before, not that it means anything

Its my feeling than an official NFL Nickname (e.g. Steel Curtain, Purple People Eaters, Doomsday, Fearsome Foursome ) belongs to that TEAM, and can be pulled out for use at any other time in history, ONLY for that team.
So, in theory, '26 Rams Defense can be The Fearsome Foursome.

The more that comes out, the more I think this has a real chance of happening—if AD feels like he can still do it.
Yes, AD has been around the Rams facility before, but most of what we've seen since retirement has been workouts at his own gym. The TMZ footage appears to show him on the Rams practice field in gear that's more consistent with field work, and to me that's different than simply using the team gym.
Then there's Myles Garrett posting AD's jersey. Pro athletes are usually intentional with what they share, so I'm getting old Jalen Ramsey vibes from when he'd post little hints before a move.
My opinion is that the Rams and AD are doing a thorough diagnostic check to see if he can still perform at the level he demands of himself while quietly working through what a return could look like. The continued silence is what keeps me optimistic.
If this happens, this season has the potential to be truly epic. I'd love to see this defense line up against Caleb Williams and Patrick Mahomes. It might be the closest thing to Shark Week, except the quarterbacks are the ones being hunted.
