No bad news is good news on the AD comeback trail!
I wonder if he hasn't announced yet so he can choose when to come back. He may have decided to come back as long as the team doesn't start the season with a terrible record. He's not coming back if we start the season 1-4 or 2-5.

I would imagine the workout is just to see how his body feels doing those drills and movements.
And how he feels later.
In particular quickness, hands, balance, first step....strength isn't a concern.
So.....a bit of a test run.

One way to prevent that from happening is workout on the field during camp but not necessarily the entire camp, build up the stamina and start in week 1.

Aaahhh. Dec. 15, 1980. 38-14 Monday Night Football blowout at Home against Dallas. 28-0 Halftime. The great Vince Ferragamo leading the way. The 2nd to last game Dallas ever played in their "cursed" Blue Jerseys before finally having enough after losing Champ Game at Philly in them.
This was 1 week after The Monday Night Game when John Lennon was murdered. Good thing it wasn't OUR game.
All in all, great times for this 9th grader, who had plenty of Cowboys fan friends.
That's a good question. Has he really ever gone back for a workout? I imagine he could have gone for a visit to say hello.

Mine has it...yes! I've messaged RamsSince1969 before about his, and it's the same one too.
Since his retirement, I believe this is the first time Donald has used the Rams' facilities for football workouts(Per the report, an “eyewitness” said Donald “spent about an hour on the field doing ladder drills, medicine ball throws, and agility work, pushing himself to the limit until he was clearly gassed.”) -for me, this is confirmation Donald will unretire.

In an interview during his first year of retirement, AD said if he ever came back it would be for the whole year because he did want to just come back to grab a ring at the end. He didn't think it would be right not to go thru all the pain and sacrifice with the team and then just cherry pick a SB ring.
If he decides to come back it will be from day one.
Donald’s being smart. He’s making sure the body is able even if the mind is willin’. Last thing he wants is not being able to finish what he starts. I’m expecting an announcement by the end of training camp one way or the other. And he’s gonna test his body outside of training camp until he knows he’s physically ready.
i just can't see him skipping training camp...
i believe he even mentioned something about not joining in without going all in...

his at home workouts most likely pale in comparison to a training camp workout...
he's a pros pro... he won't hobo jump an already moving train, he will be in the front shoveling coal with the best of them..
