Footloose, Ricochet and Raising Cain also come to mind
And on tv, Dexter
Ricochet is a guilty pleasure.

Raising Cain was a shit show narrative but gotta still love the canted angles, DePalma BS and Lithgow going for it.

And don't forget The Manhattan Project! Guy is a legend!

Do I wish we had that third Lombardi? Yep. Do I think McVay still pulls the trigger on Stafford? Yep. McVay is a savant. He knows exactly what an upgrade looks like, as do most of the rest of us. It's the tractor vs trailer argument. Stafford tractor. Goff trailer.
Yesterday I saw a tractor, but was trying to think what else it was when I thought tractor trailer the Basketball player from Michigan.

Then it made me think of how cool those tractor toys wear.Seeing them in real life was impressive yesterday at a stop sign yesterday.

Probably talk about it today just for a little learning lesson.

Goff is 5-5 in the playoffs.

Better than Lamar Jackson, Dax Prescott, and Herbett.

All QBs that some consider better than Goff. And I blame a lot of their team's losses on them.

Well Freaking Goff should’ve trusted Austin Blythe & The Rams are in the Playoffs in 2019.I know DEMOFF & Snead will both say that was a Top 5 loss together.Your adding losses with Fisher to that list as well.

Goff blowing it against the niners 2 years ago hurt. They could’ve been Super Bowl champs.

I’m not taking anything from Goff, but he has had his chances.
-I’ll always say that holding call on John Sullivan was such BS . Todd Gurley would have went off after that 1st down to cross the 50.

If you look back on it ,you’ll see that Mcvays play calling would’ve been different. He put to much on Goff & got away from the run.

Goff in the Covid year F”D UP!! In the offseason he was living life & got away from football. For that Mcvay never forgave him.
That’s imo ?

Trent Dilfer was 5-1 in the playoffs!
And that is one exception to the rule where a QB clearly wins because of his defense.

Goff had a good defense with the Rams but nothing like what Dilfer had. And he has had a terrible defense with the lions.

Meh that's not bad, he seen that DE coming from in his peripheral and had a count down in his head of when he should be hitting him. If that DE didn't half ass he would of been hit about that time.

Seen many others like that and those who never played real ball can make fun of it without having the guts to understand why it played out like it did.

Would Warner or Stafford have fought that extra to make a play instead of going down in the NFCCG and losing to a hated rival?
You know the answer.

No debate there, however they were different QB's you go to battle with that could take a hit and still grind it out hurting.

Reminds of Bulgeritis watching that clip.

Every one of us has done something that we wish we could take back. Everett made a mistake but, overall, he was a good QB while he was here. Jim Rome made an ass of himself when he kept calling him Chrissy and he even admitted it many times after that.

He still should have run to his right and see if he could make a play. He had open field to his right.

But you're right about one thing. Getting hit by DL time after time can make you shaky.

I once had a co-worker who was a cousin of an old GB QB before Farve and that guy's cousin stated getting hit by DL felt like getting hit by an incoming car. He probably exaggerated a little but I got the point.

Meh... his problem on that play it seems like he was fixated on one WR instead of going through his reads.

The point was is he collapsed about the point the LDE got directly behind him, in which Everett's mental timing was just about perfect for when that player should of been to him. Numb nuts see this and and lose their minds because they've never been in an athletic position like that before and keep the memory in their head "ghost sack". :eyeroll:

Didn't help his LT Irv Pankey standing straight up and not in an athletic position and get's burned by the RDE by making contact just one time with him. Play would of probably ended a second later anyways.

Irv Pankey was usually a really good LT too. But he played real poorly in that game IIRC.

Dude I'm over watching old Rams games, smh just watched that Carolina game in the 2003 playoffs because of the Torry Holt post on the latest ROD thread and we had plenty of opportunities to win that game. Many had a part in that lose but I still can't get over Jason fucking Sehornes' Craig Dahl angle he took guarding Steve Smith.

I mean christ he's not even looking at you and you know the direction he's going and you take that bad of an angle at the ball? Seriously wtf?

IDK

But I still maintain and think we go to the SB and possibly win it that year if we beat the Panthers.

I felt similarly about the Az fumble in 2000 at New Orleans. I was sure when the punt was in the air, we were gonna win that game AND the next couple to get to the SB. Baltimore's D was formidable but I think the Rams would have made it a helluva lot closer than Kerry Collins and the Giants. Maybe even win. Either way, it would have been a better game to watch......the best offense of it's time vs the best defense of it's time. But what do I know? I feel that way every time we make the postseason.

Duuude I've really never thought about that one.

Could you have imagined our ramped up O vs that Baltimore Defense? Would loved to have seen that one! Guarantee it would have been a better game than the shitty Giants one! lol I agree to that!

Woah matey. That cannot be gay island as it isn't prepared for survival of global warming and the rising seas.
