Cardinals fear Markus Golden suffered major knee injury
I bet ORT Rob Havenstein is aware of this bad news...appear #36 Baker knee slammed right into the outside of Golden's knee.

If Golden is going to miss significant time, it means they will be without their 2016 sack leader.Arizona replaced Golden with Kareem Martin, the Cardinals’ 2014 third-round pick out of North Carolina who recorded 10 tackles with two forced fumbles in 2016.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said he would have benched Kenny Britt in Sunday's loss if not for injuries to his other receivers.
Jackson sounds near the end of the line with Britt, who is becoming a Dwayne Bowe-esque candidate for release. He's been arguably the worst receiver in the league, not hustling and committing horrendous drops. With the Browns' season quickly going in the gutter, they won't have much more patience with 29-year-old Britt. Oct 2 - 2:41 PM

Losing Cook really, really sucks for my so-far-leading-the-office-league fantasy team.

Seahawks’ Rees Odhiambo remains hospitalized with cardiac contusion
Posted by Michael David Smith on October 2, 2017, 12:58 PM EDT
Seahawks left tackle Rees Odhiambo suffered a blunt cardiac injury on Sunday night and remains hospitalized. Odhiambo is believed to have suffered a cardiac contusion, or a bruised heart, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The injury appeared to take place when Odhiambo was hit by Colts defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard on an interception return. Odhiambo had to be attended to by the medical staff after that play, but he returned to the field on the Seahawks’ next offensive possession and stayed in the game. He played every offensive snap but was hospitalized afterward.Odhiambo is the second Seahawks left tackle to suffer a serious injury this season. They have already lost left tackle George Fant to a torn ACL.

This terrible, will change his life forever having an injury like that as young as he is.
Agree, that could potentially be a huge problem for the rest of his career and after. I hope for the best for him, he is a great young QB and person.

Transverse process is one of the little spines coming off the back of the vertebrae, and it is pretty minor actually as far as injuries go. It isn't weight bearing, and really only provides support structure for the spinal erectors and such. He will only be out however long enough it takes the bone to heal enough to not snap again.

Slipping a disc would be much more detrimental career and life wise.

Luckily not a cardiac contusion, but a sternum contusion. At least that's what pete caroll is saying.
