The thing that is irritating to me the most besides two weeks of basically Bengals talk and why they will win is nobody and I mean nobody really gives actuals facts as to why they will win. I understand the numbers go out the window and I get you don't win games on paper. Having said that they dredge up all the reasons why the Bengals are based on destiny sad franchise, Joe cool, swag, etc. Then they cherry pick all the stats that make the Rams vulnerable to this team and prove there point.

I will lose it if the Rams lose but these idiots that gave no sold reason just fairytale facts I will not be able to handle it more than ever.

Talk about which team is Hollywood and gets a script.l it's the Bengals move over Kurt Warner damn it this is so nauseating. The media and other fools are writing it for the Bengals and I hope it blows up in thier face. I now of course will take any kind of win but what I want is a complete blowout!!!! I want all the points we left on the field all season that we all griped about to be cashed in. I want to make this the most boring Superbowl ever for non ram fans sorry!!!

The Rams have faced so much adversity since the Goff trade what adversity have the Bengals seen??? This just infuriating.

I've got nothing against the Bengals and Joe Montana err Burrow...but i hope the Rams win by 40. The media will have nothing to talk about. They'll jump off the Burrow hype fest, ignore the champs and go right into Aaron Rodgers talk for months.

Interestingly we don't see SB blowouts anymore though. I feel like like these days, even if one team is vastly superior to the other like the old days, the NFL's parity police will keep it interesting even in a scenario where the Rams are dominating. To be honest this is my biggest concern tomorrow. Well, that and turnovers. Stafford has to play clean.

Looking for the Rams to apply a massive beat down on them! Plenty of bulletin board stuff provided by the talking heads to make it happen.

That is what has been frustrating about some of our playoff performances. For the Bucks game we gave the media the narrative of the Brady come back and how we almost choked and a few other things. We could have just destroyed them.

For the Niners all they talk about is that missed interception but they don’t mention all the Near touchdown passes we had and the missed field goal on our end.

They just need their “what if” moment in every game to discredit our win and that’s probably what will happen tomorrow if we win unless we play a perfect game. Otherwise we will never get credit. And honestly who gives a fuck if we get the trophy

All week, no answer for the Bengals winning except one. "They got Joe Burrow". Apparently, he's the next coming of God.

Well, excuse my French, but fuck Joe Burrow!

I know.
It's just lazy at best, ignorant in general and f***ing delusional if they really watched and actually believe that.

That's why all sports talk radio is 100% concerned with entertainment and 0% concerned with providing intelligent analysis or reliable, professional prognostication.

The Rams have literally 10 different unbelievable stories that have been covered but quickly dropped or entirely ignored by the talking heads and asses.
If any one of our teams storylines were happening on any other team in the SB, the coverage of it would be nauseating.

On the bright side, this is how we attract the right kind of fans... not those former Seahawks fans who started wearing Bengals gear 3 weeks ago and now they keep bringing up Boomer Ehwhatshisfaceson every chance they get...

When I was young I would have found all the irrational gushing over Joe Butthole and the suddenly darling Bengals to be totally disgusting. Nobody gave a shit about Ohios 3rd favorite football team until 2 months ago... I kinda liked 'em when it wasn't cool but I'm not going to pretend I care..
14 year old me would have rejected the Bengals hype outright for being trendy.

I'm glad the Rams are the villains in this bs narrative. That means we went from being the underdogs to being the up and comers and at some point we became the juggernaut everyone is jealous of.

We all know - regardless of whichever way the ball bounces tomorrow - when the fourth quarter ends, the team with the most points WINS! Footballs are known to take the odd bounce now and then - accordingly nothing is guaranteed.

Yeah we got AD, Ramsey, Floyd, Miller, & Stafford plus some really good receivers et al. Conversely, Cincinnati astonishingly trotted to the Super Bowl on a "Burro". Good for them! They've been the SOSAB's for a long, long time. That said, all things considered, I really like our chances. Go Rams !!!!!

I hear you guys and gotta agree. However, media bias is a matter of perspective. Trust me, Bengals fans are feeling the exact opposite as you. All we've heard is gushing over "Rams DL" "AD/Miller/Floyd" "Bengals no chance vs Rams DL" etc. etc. etc.

Well, not much mention of the Bengals D-line and how good they've been this year. I can promise you, they notice the slight and all the "great Rams DL" talk, and will be locked in with something to prove.

Here are some facts for you regarding Defense only:

2021 Sack Totals:
Trey Hendrickson 16.5
Aaron Donald 14.0
Von Miller 11.5
Sam Hubbard 10.5
Leonard Floyd 10.5
BJ Hill 7.0
Larry Ogunjobi (IR) 7.0

I only mentioned Ogunjobi because BJ Hill was backup and starting now since Larry got hurt.

2021 Defensive Rank Overall (all 17 games):

Rams #17
Bengals #18

You don't think the media is giving a lot of bias towards the Rams defense and overlooking the Bengals?

Granted, the difference in OL for both teams makes the matchup MUCH more favorable for the Rams DL, but there has been media slight in the other direction for sure.

Psssst, don't tell anyone but our strategy will be shutting the other Joe (Dixon) down and letting the residuals hit the ground.

I don't know if the Rams pass rush is going to dominate as predicted. Seems like when we go into a game against a team with a poor OL, we don't get pressure. Feel like it's going to come down to the 2,3,4 CBs

Difference is our line protects the QB much better than Cincy’s. The advanced metrics aren’t really close.

Some media types don't like how they built the team.
Mostly it is the ones who have been proven wrong and are doubling down hoping they can then say they were right all along. They have been saying the Rams are mortgaging their future since 2018, but the Rams have been hanging around the whole time. It's kinda like the stock market. How many years was the bubble going to burst. They keep predicting and we get a lull here and there, but it just doesn't quite happen.

Yep, I have been mostly worried about the refs. You can bet, if the Rams aren't getting to the QB, the refs are the reason. Want to keep it close and then any nonsense can happen. We have seen it before.

Change is tough for some people to jump on board, there are different ways of doing things. When the Rams make trades, they factor in the compensatory picks they will get, in fact this year they still have 8 picks and that's why they are willing to throw in some picks here and there.

The Rams also do an excellent job of developing later round picks like Safety Nick Scott and UDRFA's like Kendall Blanton. Rams spend quite a bit of time & money signing the UDRFA's and they have reaped the rewards as well.

This is something too difficult for certain talking heads to understand because it involves research and understanding of the draft process and most just won't put in the time because they are too worried about getting a free lunch.

Agree.

Hendrickson going against Big Whit today is gonna be tough. Obviously wanting to see Hendrickson make big plays, but mixed emotions seeing as how Whit has always been one of my favorite plays.
