Please show me where I blamed the refs for the loss. I didn't. But you can't honestly say those "tripping" calls were legit. Either way, the Cowboys still have the #1 offense. How are the rams doing? Looking like they arent even going to make the wild card.

The Cowgirls are 6-5 (currently a worse record than the Rams), with a SOV of .250 ....

I feel ya about aspects of the NFL, Sunday Ticket, and Directv. But my family has been sick all week and I think I have had about 16 hours of sleep the entire week. So I took this picture of me deliriously getting amped up for tonight’s game. Those are vintage Monday night football pajama pants worn Steve Urkel styleView attachment 32281, a vintage LA Rams hat ( around the Chuck Knox era) and my undefeated when worn on game day 99 jersey!!!!!!! Don’t get down on the system. Just get as crazy as possible without getting hauled away!!!!!

You look so comfortable.

That's how I feel.
My eyes see it. My brain tries to rationalize it, but the refs can't sell it anymore. It feels...... guided.

Sorry, not sure if drunk and crazy or drunk and honest.

I love the Rams. I always will. But.... I don't have faith in the game right now.

EDIT - This thread should be deleted. Not trying to be another dork... just .... upset.

The officials suck ass, at least 10 probably 20 penalties not called. The ravens rt tackle lined up in the back field and Rapp held during the run both go uncalled. The DPI on Cooks early in the game that was uncalled. It is even worse live than it is on TV. Several blatant penalties not called.

Sorry I agree with everything except that DPI. That was just plain goof coverage

Yeah, they're the ones blowing coverages and allowing a 2nd year QB seal his MVP ticket.

The refs are terrible, but have no bearing on tonight's game . The Rams D has been exposed since they are playing a real team . You don't get to play against Dalton , Rudolph, and Trubisky every week. The trade for Ramsey looks like a desperate reach for a team that needs to fill a lot of gaping holes . Ramsey can stand on an island while everyone runs it down the field . Bad move

The NFL stands to lose billions of dollars if their fans come to believe that the outcomes are predetermined. There is a huge disincentive against ‘rigging’ games.

Yeah, good point! The US government lying to their citizens could lose trillions. The NFL bullshitting could never happen...

Did anyone notice the XFL football on commercial breaks in the studio? Damn shame.

As long as there is the human element in the game there will always be biased calls. Its human nature and theres no getting around it
Can you call the NFL’s agenda, human? Corporate NFL is an ugly thing. Anyone see the mugging going on last night? Ugly...

Source: Cowboys told tripping penalties shouldn't have been called

FRISCO, Texas -- It will not change the outcome of Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots, but the Dallas Cowboys were informed by the league office that the two tripping penalties in the 13-9 loss should not have been called, a source told ESPN.

Center Travis Frederick was flagged for tripping on third-and-1, negating an Ezekiel Elliott first down on a 3-yard catch as the Cowboys were driving for a potential go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter. On third-and-11, Dak Prescott's pass to Randall Cobb was incomplete and his fourth-down pass to Amari Cooper that went for 20 yards was correctly overturned by replay, effectively ending the team's chances to win.

In the first quarter, left tackle Tyron Smith was penalized for tripping, putting the Cowboys in a difficult second-and-23 situation that preceded the blocked punt by the Patriots, which led to the game's only touchdown.

Jason Garrett had no comment on the calls during his Monday news conference.

As to the critical comments made by owner and general manager Jerry Jones at Garrett and to the coaching staff after the defeat, Garrett said, "We've just got to focus on coaching as well as we can and playing as well as we can. There certainly were some things in the game that we have to get better at, and we're going to work on that as a staff and as a football team. But again, our eyes are forward on Buffalo."

With a short week, there was not the normal postgame meeting with Jones.

When asked directly if he felt like he was outcoached by Bill Belichick, Garrett said, "Again, great respect for Coach Belichick and his staff in what they do. They've been fantastic for years. The biggest thing we try to focus on is what we can do better as a coaching staff and as a football team. That's really where our attention is."

I will say I saw about 5 to 6 holding penalties that were missed last night when jackson would run out of the pocket. Some of them were pretty bad too. For some reason the refs let it go

Easy solution. Allow the teams to use their challenges for anything they please.

It's really that simple!
You would have to give each team 10 challenges. That or if you win the challenge you get it back, although even when they review it the still get it wrong often.

At times it seemed 5 or 6 per drive.

The very first punt you see a rams defender flying to the ground after a push in the back right in front of the punt returner. Nothing. That set the tone for the rest of the game.

Maybe that's why the rams d was so lifeless. They knew they weren't gonna get any calls that game. Although the refs did throw them a couple of holding calls. Not that it mattered though as the ravens would just run for 10 yards the next play.
