As I've been down on him from almost the beginning, I'd have no problem trading him. I was really hoping he'd grow up or at least learn from his mistakes but I don't see that happening. It's a shame because I think he has a good amount of skill. He'll probably make the PB as soon as we trade him though. :(

he just spoke to media and took full responsibility for the td. he said he got caught peeking in the backfield and was suppose to be in 3 deep zone

I voted No. Hes a solid DB, I blame the play calling for the Lloyd TD, where the hell was the safety!? Cant be calling plays like that with 25 secs left... you know they are going to go deep and try to get some poinds on the board before half.

I would be open to trading any player on this team outside of Quinn and the 1st-2nd year draft picks for the right price. You're not really going to get anything for JJ right now btw. He's more valuable to us here because of that.

He'll get better as he gets older and more experienced. He's learning and can cover the best receivers in the game. He made one mistake. He could be a star in the future and we've got good depth with Gaines developing and Joyner. No from me.

I voted "no".

Put me in the camp believing he's been pretty good this year, as a whole.

That said; we don't start winning... Nobody is untouchable.

"No" vote here. JJ has as much or more upside as anyone on this team.

GO RAMS!!!!

A guy has a bad game and all of a sudden we should trade him? How many sacks does Quinn have this year? Maybe we should see what we can get for him :rolleyes:

No way.
He's a good corner.
3 starting caliber corners is a must these days.

A no from me also but I wouldn't have been against fisher putting his butt on the bench to start the 2nd half to give him time to think about what he did.

Yes, I would trade anyone. But Janoris just made the biggest boneheaded play since Joe Pisarcik, and then proceeded to become invisible for the remainder of the evening. So his stock is a little low this year.

But that is what concerns me. He has repeatedly made the same mistakes throughout his career. He's just as susceptable to double moves in year 3 as he was in year 1. Has he had a great year? Sure. His best yet? Sure. But I'm afraid this game may have been just the tip of the iceberg. Are his old habits rearing their ugly heads again? Quite possibly. I think if he has a handful more big blunders like the TD on Monday, that trading him should be a consideration.

I think it has to go without saying that we'd take insane offers.

Like, say, Quinn for every draft pick the other team gets for the next 10 years.

I'd take that in a second.

The Dez Bryant td has been explained already. Regarding the Cooper td, DBs aren't supposed to give up touchdowns ever????? He had good coverage and Cooper came down with the td, period. Get over it.
Get over it?

Lol, calm down pal.

Sure, every time there is a break down and a player gets beat you can dissect it and come up with all kinds of reasons of what happened. However, dating back to his rookie year there seems to be these types of plays going on.

You guys can say all you want. Jenkins is a good player...but he isn't a great player. He isn't a shut down corner. It seems to me that more and more criticism is being taken the wrong way around here. Furthermore, "DBs aren't supposed to give up touchdowns ever?????"...I was responding to the comment of Jenkins being a shutdown corner, not just any DB. Context.

If—
By Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

The idea of trading him is silly. He's been playing well this year, he made two mistakes in the SF game and now he should be dumped?????

And replaced with exactly WHO?
