He got his roster bonus and is now a UFA, can sign with anyone for whatever he can get.
Not sure if I should put this in the Jimmy G or the Cousins thread but I guess whichever one I do someone else will do the other at some point anyway so going with Jimmy G for now.

In a worst case scenario and Stafford goes down for a long stretch, who are you guys going to run the offense through? And don’t say Jimmy Garrapolo.
Jimmy is fine. Those guys are neck and neck, lets not exaggerate. See Jimmy's game against Seattle 2024 regular season finale. 300+ yards passing playing with backups.

Stafford is in the top 3 Quarterbacks in football right now and could be number 1. My plan A is him playing for us another 3-4 years. I would think if they bring in Cousins that they probably don't prioritize QB this year. Maybe a flyer late who they could stash on the PS, but not much more.
