If the Seahawks don't have their QB they could be out of the playoffs in the next couple games. Bad as their QB1 is the dropoff to their QB2 is significant.

So in that scenario if the Rams beat the Jets and the Cards they could be looking at playing third stringers while they rest starters for that final game vs Seattle.

If we win the next two I believe we will clinch the division. Even if its for higher seeding I doubt McVay would play his starters that game. Sometimes a higher seed isn't best. Last year if we were 7th instead of 6th we woulda played the Cowboys instead of the Lions. The way the Cowboys choke I think we woulda beat them.

Yes winning this game is quite important - for example if we win this and against seattle - we could still pass the cardinals even if they beat us, if they lose to the panthers or 49ners.

We would be 10-7 and they would be 9-8

Interesting pick-up in Weaver. More of an edge rusher, but a smart guy (went to graduate school for business), high motor, solid technique, not much of an athlete, drafted in the fourth round by the Titans in 2021.

With Hampton out for the season, that reduces the Edge players on the 53 from 5 to 4; and Hoecht has been used more often in an off-ball/ILB role over the past month. Guessing Jackson will be active as the 4th Edge.

Weaver gives the Rams an additional Edge option (along with Keir Thomas) on the Practice Squad.

This is a classic trap game. I hope McVay remembers the last time we played the Jets.

In my mind, this is a pivotal game for us.

We need to be ready against an underrated Aaron Rodgers + Adams team.

Hopefully the mini bye gave us the rest we need to make a push to win the West. Right now, it’s our division to lose. Let’s win out! GO RAMS BABY!

Classic trap game for sure.
The last time, losing to the Jets in New York, was maybe the worst loss of McVay career.
I actually expect the Rams to focus on running the ball and being fairly conservative on offense.
Pass rush has to get home against Rodgers.....if it does, they can dominate the Jets.
