That's what brought me to Rams fandom in the first place - being a STL kid who lost football when he was 7 enjoying local NFL football, shared with family and friends, all pulling together for the same goal.

Two words...for ever! I hate the f#@king patsies, the city of Boston and the entire NE region for stealing that doer Bowl.

One other thing I have never been able to comprehend is the term "second favorite team". WTF?

It's not a big deal. I am a Steeler fan too. Like the Rams I've stuck with them for years. Why in the hell is that so bad?

Hey, I will be there rooting for a massive rout of the Pats. Been a while since the two teams have played - London 2012 or 2013 I think? - which to me kind of removes a lot of the "rivalry"

Maybe Rams can borrow Tom Coughlin for the day of that game

I'm all for a Rams beatdown of the Pats... just have embraced NE as my "second home" town team. Like I root for Bradford as long as he's not playing the Rams.

For me it's the exclusive connotation of the word "favorite", but that's just one guy's view...

I think it's pretty common for people to have a team on the other conference/league that's their "other favorite." I'm a Cardinals fan from birth, but have liked the Mariners a lot for a long time as my AL team.
