Given how salaries increase annually, slotting in at number 10 with the last contract is probably about right for the 20th to 30th best TE in the league. In a couple years that’s likely to be where his contract slots.
The cap is set by TV revenues.
$15.5-M guaranteed though, so it seems like they've designed a low-risk investment to reward a hard-working player with a team-wide rapport, entering his prime. What other TE are going to walk through the door and be reliable cogs in our offense? Why take that gamble when you have the player you need already?
I purchased the naming rights for turn style #3 for the Inglewood Stadium. I am naming it the "Alex Barron."Watch the money just flow in!They haven't signed a stadium deal and even if they had that wouldn't affect money to sign players.

I thought Ogletree contract was high.I seriously doubt any other team would of given him anything close to 8 million a year. This is the first contract since McVay's been here that I question. 3 or 4 million a year - fine but 8 million. Wow...
And the CBA... They could up the % in the formula in the new CBA for the cap. That is an obvious change the players will push for.
