I just watched a Medal of Honor winner from the Vietnam "Police Action" describe the events from which he earned the Nations highest honor. Of course he said that when initially told he would recieve the MOH, he said he would turn it down...They told him "Who do you think you are? This medal isn't just for you...it's also for the guys that never made it home"

We are not worthy of them.

It was on Fox News, told first hand. He wasn't bothered by it all of these years later. In the report, it was said that most modern day MOH recipients feel the same that the guys who really deserved the honor, never made it back. Heros all, inmho.
