Promote Rob Boras and bring Shanahan in as an offensive special assistant. Shanahan ain't gonna take a coordinator job but throw him some change to game-plan a little week to week and we got ourselves something nice.

Boom!

Beats being unemployed...

Maybe he drew his name out of the running because he knew he wasn't getting the job.

We might as well wait and see who they hire. We have struck out on all fronts. Hope there is an ace up the sleeve.

Down with the Martz Buzz!!! Of course Fisher isn't.

And it looks like the rumors of us struggling to find an OC are true.

Mod's edit: Don't enjoy tampering with anyone's post but the homophobic remark was deleted due to complaints.

There are only 4 aces in a deck and I think they've all been played...It almost has to be Boras now...I wonder if the Rams job was worse than being unemployed for Hackett...I'm not sure that there are that many unfilled slots out there now...(Or did he get a different gig and I missed it) ???

Not disappointed. The guy didn't excite me in the first place. The fact that he's rejoining Marrone in Jacksonville tells me that the talk that Marrone held him back in Buffalo has little if any merit.

Let's give Boras a shot. We don't have to change the terminology, and Boras can put his own stamp on it. I think the due diligence has been done.

Yea. Can't say I wanted him either really. Maybe the Rams weren't all that enthused either and he sniffed it out.

Gimme Chuds!

Fine by me. I wasn't too big on him anyway, he was interesting but I've preferred Boras over him.
