Man, there's always players to spend it on.Yes, that may be the case but no guarantee there's people to spend it on and some of these guys like Witherspoon we're not gonna want back.
I’ve got Jeanty “sliding” to the Bears at #10.Jeanty is McVay's type of back. He likes 'em little and shifty, some elusiveness and contact balance. So if Jeanty were to fall anywhere near the Rams pick you can rest assured McVay would be jumping on desks to get Les to move up.
But he won't get anywhere near our pick. He is one of the more sure things in a homogenized group of guys from let's say 7-40 who don't have a ton of separation. You can look at all the picks going off from 7 to the teens and compare them to the dudes slotted in the 20s and in most cases the dude taken in the 20s is at least somewhat comparable in that role.
And this is even more true with RB. I keep saying that Martinez may be the best back from this draft. The dude is a Lynch clone. And he's not the only power back who may be undervalued, as you have Skattebo who has great tape and showed explosiveness in his workout. If anything this is the one knock on taking Jeanty high, and the sole reason he may slide a bit. But he won't slide too far because he's a high percentage of being what you expect at the next level. His agility, speed, and contact balance will play.
Its depressing, that knee that cut his career short. Defenses were scared of Todd Gurley at one time.Crazy to realize that while it feels like Gurley has been out of the league for like a decade, he's still just 30 years old. Younger than Derrick Henry.
'17/'18 Gurley was GOAT level, his screen game was almost unfair at timesIts depressing, that knee that cut his career short. Defenses were scared of Todd Gurley at one time.
It's almost like we've forgotten what a RB screen looks like these days.'17/'18 Gurley was GOAT level, his screen game was almost unfair at times

Not a new thought. This is what I say they should do. Not only does it super charge the O, but it takes a ton of pressure off the D. They would be playing with the lead most of the time and able to turn the Dline loose. Oh well, never gona happen. This is the silly time in the NFL. Everybody and their Fantasy League brother are doing goofy mock drafts.
I clicked on this article expecting to roll my eyes. But I found it surprisingly intriguing.
I'm curious what you gents think of this guys speculation on Jeanty. I could see this happening. And like when we picked Gurley years ago when "We don't need a running back",
this move, though I doubt it is likely, could make this offense amazing!
Cooper Kupp would probably disagree here.... He was unstoppableAlso I don't remember having any true game breakers When we won the last SB.
I like him too. Would love to see us end up with him. I just have Martinez a bit above him.I think you are already aware of my man-crush on Skatteboo, and he's a guy we could reasonably get with one of the picks we currently have. He doesn't necessarily have breakaway speed, but he has what I call breakaway power, because he's a powerful back with incredible balance that can easily break multiple tackles until there is nobody left to catch him. I'd be fucking ecstatic if he ended up a Ram ... and horrified if he ended up with a divisional rival.
I think the conversation was more about needing to getCooper Kupp would probably disagree here.... He was unstoppable
