You know perfectly well I'm referring to leaving STL for LA and aggressively burning bridges behind them. As someone born and raised in STL, that felt unequivocally like cheating me personally.
Well you are looking at the wrong side of the coin bro.

NOBODY is promised anything in this world.

Any good things you DO get (like the Greatest Show on Turf and Super Bowls) are simply bonuses that you need to embrace.

If you want to wallow around in the muck of things you assume you "deserve", you have simply made a choice to embrace negatives.

There is nothing I can do about that.

Like I said, everybody is different.

I never once said I deserved anything. Simply that, when the Rams hosed the city of St. Louis and the Rams fans who lived or hailed from there, that was the point at which I could no longer support the team.

I don't "deserve" anything WRT the Rams. Neither do they "deserve" to retain me as a fan post-move.

Fair enough, but it is much more physically and mentally healthy for people to concentrate on their blessings and not dwell on their losses.

Oh, I do. Again, I've moved past the anger part of this particular breakup and discuss the Rams with y'all from an outsider's POV on football merits. Hell, I'm only having this conversation right now because someone necro'd this thread from the day after the move was announced, when the hurt was raw.

Rams fans have been dwelling on losses for the past decade.

Being a Rams fan is kinda like this....

Uh... why is being a Rams fan kinda like carrying around the Jolly Green Giant's disembodied DNA rifle and balls?

But hell, if it seems antagonistic to you, I'll change to my favorite beer instead. Better?
I'll never understand how any true Rams fan can become a Pats fan, same as becoming a Whiner fan in my book. But as a person you seem cool, and I can't get it out of my head....wtf kind of beer is that???!!?!!?!/ It looks yummmmm yummmmm!
