This is the type of game that determines whether he's the guy. Right now. So let's see if he can recover and get us over the top.

Those of us that aren't blinded by being a rams fan, and try to look at it objectively as a football fan have seen the trend since late 2018. The trend is not going the right way, he has regressed so far. Accuracy used to be a huge strong suit for him, its gone. His confidence... gone. Every other pass now is a wobbly floater, I never used to remember that... he used to throw a tight spiral.

There's just no defending this type of play. McVay has to make a change this offseason. With so many rookie QBs coming in a making a legit impact, we have to explore a different option. We have a SB caliber defense and how long does that window stay open?

he is streaky which is just a polite way of saying inconssistent and this O doesn't help. McVay is calling plays outside of his comfort zone because we don't have the players to execute to his strengths

The other issue is that contract. I think Goff is what he is. You might expect a little continuing improvement but it's not like he is a rookie that is suddenly going to "get" it. He's in a very qb friendly system, but he needs good protection and a good-to-great running game as support. No coincidence he regressed about the same time Gurley's knee gave out. Maybe why we keep drafted Akers too - hoping to hit on another runner who can take the pressure off. We're stuck with Goff - better or worse - for a while, probably. Plus, no draft capital for a replacement anytime soon.

I don’t think he will be here next season. He is not the one to lead this team. His chances are gone I believe.
Never been one to hate on him or sing his praises.

He has been in the league long enough that there will not be any more growth.

I am open to a change. It has been happening too long.

We dont even need 3 and 4 TD games from Goff...we just need him to be a game manager...and he's having trouble with that for whatever reason. All we need is Wolford to hand the ball off, run the play action, and protect the ball. I think he can do that...Is Wolford the long term answer at QB? Prolly not but Goff needs to be held accountable.

I would really like him to prove it he got a second half to do it. I hope he will.
I mean that last drive was sucking the life out of Seattle. So the INT was fucking profound and even if we win I'd be pissed at him as his coach. But yeah Goff is streaky he might bounce back IF he doesn't get benched.
