He played the game of his life. A few weeks ago I questioned why he was getting any snaps at all.

actually after rewatching, Darnold was holding onto the ball way too long.

Gallimore definitely benefitted from this.
You could hear the disappointment in Troy Aikman's voice that Darnold wasn't simply stepping up into the pocket to avoid the rush and possibly make a play.
Darnold looked like the definition of paralysis by over analysis.

Man Gallimore had a game last night!

Looks like there was a fire in some of their bellies! Hope this carries onto Philly!

So you're taking credit for motivating Gallimore ... Man, the Ego on you.

But ... just in case ... could you insult a few more Rams' players this week. The Eagles are a tough match-up.

Hey, let's give some love to Desjuan Johnson as well. Gallimore was incredible, but D-John made the most of every snap.

I didn't know anything (or forgot) about Gallimore prior to this game but looked him up and saw he was a 3rd round pick for the Cowboys in 2020 who ran a 4.79 at 304 lbs at the combine. For comparison, Fiske, who is also extremely athletic, ran a 4.78 at 291 lbs.

Looked like a huge guy on the field who was somehow hawking down ball carriers and closing distance fast on the QB so the explosiveness tracks on gameday as well. Could be a future chess piece for us if we decide to re-sign him after this year.

Agreed. Neville has played like a JAG all year, for the most part. But last night he played like his hair was on fire.

He showed off his speed on one play trying to chase down Cam Akers... the big dude was sprinting like Larry Allen out there!

Gallimore definitely made himself some money in free agency last night.

Rams' Bobby Brown: Exits Monday with shoulder injury

Brown is questionable to return to Monday's wild-card game against the Vikings due to a shoulder issue, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Brown departed in the first half, and it's uncertain if he'll be able to return. He had recorded one tackle prior to his exit. Neville Gallimore will likely take on more defensive snaps for as long as Brown remains sidelined.

We might well need him vs. the Eagles. Expect some heavier packages vs. the run at times.
