If forced to pick… I pick the 49’ers and it sucks to say.

In the AFC… I like KC.

The NFL is crazy… It could be anyone at this point.
Yeah I agree the 49ers defense is closing everyone out & Purdy still keeps producing. Hoping someone can beat them.

After the Rams play the Seahawks its officially college basketball season for me...
College basketball for me is always like a slow moving book with a great ending. Just cannot get into most of the games before March Madness.

Hoping for Bills/Vikings Super Bowl.
Heh....now that would be great! At least one of them (finally!) will be the winner.
Both of these sad sack organizations have each lost the 4 times each that they have played in the Super Bowl.
Yepper that's a grand total record of 0 and 8.
It's time for one of 'em to break into the win column.

Actually considering how the injuries went with the Rams this season, I'm kind of glad that the Niners look to be a SB contender. Shocking? Hear me out.

Let's say the pundits are right this time and the Niners win a Super Bowl. It sets up a real conundrum for them next year. Jimmy G is a UFA who has been abused by the franchise. But still he leads them to a SB win? But...but....but what about Trey Lance? Jimmy G will make them pay a ransom to return. If he does, the Rams know how to beat him. Also, he's not the kind of QB that can carry a team without a very strong run game.

There is a real chance he would not want to return considering that Lance will always be lurking behind him. I have always said Lance has a much higher ceiling. That said he's a project player and the Niners would have to expect a year or two for him to grow into the position. That is to say their SB window just slammed shut.

There are at least 6 teams that would pay for Jimmy G if he wins a Super Bowl. The Niners option would be to make a run at Derek Carr. A definite upgrade to either Lance or Jimmy. But it will cost them 2-3 first rounders. I'm not so sure Carr is a good fit unless they change their offense. Carr is more like Stafford in that he's not a progression type of QB. He reads and anticipates which like Stafford can be boom or bust at times. Carr is a better fit in Tampa where IMO he will sign. Tommy B would love to sign with the Niners. His skillset is declining, and the Rams have always played him tough. He's a short term rental which would be fine with the Lance supporters in the FO. IMO Tommy B probably signs with the Niners.

Tommy B will cost the Niners and they aren't exactly flush. It will test their ability to manipulate their cap.

Yeah I see Derek Carr, Jimmy G and Tommy B garnering the biggest attention in 2023 of the top QB needy teams. In the eyes of most Baker is a TBD type of player, clearly a system QB. I don't see him being offered the kind of money he might be expecting. Sure he could end up in Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Indy, Vegas or Seattle, teams desperate enough to overpay but career wise what kind of move would that be for Mayfield? Most of those teams would be looking at the draft.

In the NFC I'd take Philly over San Francisco if Hurts is healthy, only because of the importance of the QB position.

I'd take Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Buffalo - in that order - over any of the NFC teams.

I see It coming down to the Niners and Eagles.

I would take either team over the Chiefs or Bills.

Eagles
Vikings
49’ers
Cowboys

The NFC should come out from those 4, IMO.

Funny how it’s all the old classic Rams rivals: Niners, Vikings, Cowboys…. Too bad the Rams aren’t in the mix.

Don’t sleep on Burrows and Mixon…they will be a tough out…one of the scariest WR corps in the game

There are several teams in the NFC that I hate and unfortunately who I think is the best in the NFC.

The Niners, God help me, are the best. (IMO).

Behind them are the Cowboys (gulp), the Iggles, the Vikings, and the Buccs.. Consequently, I am hoping the AFC Champ wins the Super Bowl this year because I don't want to be guilty of choking out Niner fans all year....
The Rams, standings are not always relevent.

The best team?

Easy answer, Philly.
If they lose to the Saints this week, it puts that standing in peril.
Dallas is still in the division race.
And SF is close to both of them.
Odd there's little confidence anywhere for Minnesota and they could end up the #1 seed.

I haven't been following them that much, but besides Jalen Hurt being out, isn't their starting LT hurt as well? If so, that's why I rate the Niners above them.
