Ugh. Dumb guys doing dumb things.

Concourses look nice though!

EDIT: Didn't see this posted in the "Media fallout" thread. Although, this kind of violent stupidity might be deserving of its own thread... :D

Idk why you would come to a game in LA, in opposing team gear, and think it's OK to start pointing fingers and talking shit to the crowd. There's always going to be some drunk idiots who take it the wrong way and look for an excuse to take out their anger issues on someone else.

Play stupid games, u win stupid prizes.

Oh look another game at SOFI another huge brawl. I am embarrassed by Rams fans. They are gonna have to get this shit under control if they wanna keep charging crazy prices I shouldn't have to fear for the safety of my family.

Not sure who started the fight but you should be able to wear any jersey to any stadium and participate in a little trash talk without being physically attacked.

Pretty sure this shit is avoidable. Some people are just dipshits. And welp... Dipshits do dipshit.

I've also personally witnessed this kind of crap at shecocks stadium. But it's LA so... TMZ.

Fights happen at every game. It's gross TMZ makes money off this garbage. SoFi needs to start making examples out of people who start crap with other players whether or not they are Rams fans or opposing fans. While fights are going to happen regardless we don't want the Rams stadium to turn into a Raiders environment.

It definitely happens everywhere but seems to be more common in the California based teams for years. Or at least that’s what I’ve seen not that I’ve ran numbers I just always see videos of chargers/raiders(while they were there) fan fights more consistently than others.

And yeah you are correct about the LA media coverage. But if you want to charge LA prices safety is the bare minimum of requirements.

Oh, I've engaged in trash talk with opposing fans plenty of times. And it always ended with a laugh or handshake or "cheers" at the end of it. The way dude was pointing and puffing his chest out to the fans in their seats was NOT trash talk, though. He was trying to start some shit... and he found it.

I remember a few brawls at the Big A back in the day we had season tickets....but back then they sold HUGE beers, so big they sold plastic handles to slide the cup into....now it seems like people just want any excuse to throw down...

hahahaha. Bunch of fat drunk nonathletic dudes thinking they are Aaron Donald or Akiem Hicks.

They need to beef up security and start making pubic statements about the penalties they will start enforcing.

It's disgraceful to watch these idiots do in our new stadium.

I mean I expect it in SF or some other God forsaken place. Grew up watching fights every game at candlestick.

You get attacked. Fearing for your life. Rip the guys eyes out. Doesn't matter how big they are, they'll go down, fast.

Ground fighting. Just find the guys eyes and rip...fights over.

You don't need any technique either. Just slap your hand onto the face, and slide fingers into the eyes.

Stay safe my fellow Rams fans!

I never thought the NFL was that bad for crowd punch ups.
Granted, never been to a game in the States mind you.
How about outside the stadium?

Went to football(soccer) matches in England for years and there was always an atmosphere that it could go south, and sometimes it did.
Most violence happened outside the ground.
Many years before i used to go to games, some fans were known to put razor blades in apples to throw at opposing fans.
Crowd segregation is paramount at all games to limit the amount of fighting.
It's almost as if you expect a mass brawl and are pleasantly surprised when it doesn't happen.

I oved the atmosphere at the London Games when i went to watch Rams v Cardinals.
Everyone was wearing a different team jersey and chatting and drinking.

I've been to plenty of NFL games in different states, different teams... there are always fights. However, my family and I have never once ever felt threatened or concerned for our safety. Its always been apparent to us that 99.9999% of the time, fights occur only between total d-bag bros who are looking for trouble. An innocent bystander getting beat down at an NFL game? Has to be exceptionally rare.

Fights at SOFI are going to be publicized every time until those posts quit getting traffic. It's just the nature of LA, the paparazzi culture, etc.
Are fights at games in LA worse than some other venues? Quite possibly, I don't know. Could be worse than others or better... but I'd be willing to bet it's no worse than majority of the league. So is it actually a problematic situation we should be concerned with? Only if you are the type that likes to over-worry about extremely unlikely and usually easily avoidable scenarios. Some people just live to worry.
