There's no doubt in my mind that Morrison will be there at 26. From what I understand he's had two hip procedures. He's probably looking at day two at best.

WTF is up with CB’s ? I don’t get it.There are 10 CB’s on the roster.

The Rams have a few needs to upgrade. An OT is more important.
The draft has a lot of spots of need as well. When have The Rams reached for a CB.

That said I’ll continue to say drafting a New Age MLBer is the CALL for me.
So Ram, you gotta be consistent. You're right that the Rams haven't reached for CBs. They haven't drafted many high in McSnead's tenure.

But shouldn't the same logic apply to LB? They've prioritized that position even less.

He can play center, probably the best center in the draft.
yesss -- just saw this in another post yesterday.
A blue-chip at Center would make the entire O more effective.
A-Jax / Avila / Zabel / Dotson / Hav would be imposing, and make the pass game & run game that much more powerful.

I would love that. I feel Zabel could move to RT too once Hav is done. But alas, it's not to be because they brought in Shelton. They don't want a rookie making calls this year.

I look back at Olgetree & even 2018 Mcvay resigned him, only to trade him.Barron was a guy. Littleton was a workhorse.

I think The Rams need a MLBer & EVERY SEASON there is a player position open!!

I think we were all WRONG on Tutu Atwell vs. a Center .It was a GREAT Center Draft Class as well.

I’m saying the way THE RAMS are set up. Mcvay getting PISSED at LES SNEAD to draft up for a DT last year when there were 3 DE/Edge OLB.
We’d be kicking ourselves as RAM FANS if The Rams traded up & The HAGS drafted Jared Verse last season.

I'll tell you what's up with 10 cornerbacks on our roster, they're not very good! 20th in pass yards allowed, 17th in pts allowed, and shitty coverage contributed to being only 22nd in sacks. Our top 2 corners would rarely see the field on damn near any other team. O expect our young d-line to play an entire season the they finished then last 7. Yes, we need at least 1 bona-fide upper tier corner (and an ILB) for this defense to be elite.

WAH WAH - I call BS!! Did you watched the Playoffs??? T’WHITE gave up SO many Yards & TD’s early in the season.
Cobie Durant came into his own,but got injured.
D.Williams was injured,but is a heck of a TACKLER & a solid CB.
—Whiterspoon shut Down J.Jefferson & most WR as the season went on.He will be much improved.
-Kendrick was going to be a starter.
There are other that have depth.

-Forbes in 2023 was a FIRST Round PICK!! He’ll get a training camp in & has NFL experience.Plus knowledge of The Rams Defense!

Say as you want.

What about pass defense with Rosenboom & Speights - LMAO !!

Then what about Lake ?? Kinchens ? McCollough?? Cam Curl ? Do they count as DB’s

COME ON MAN !! Get a ILber that is good in coverage & that will change The RUN & PASS.
Jihaad Campbell could be that guy.

The latest ones on NFL Mock Draft database are hilarious.

Fox Sports has the Rams trading down from 26 to 30, so that the Bills can move up for Jahdae Barron. Wouldn't the Rams just take him there? The Rams end up taking Jihaad Campbell at 30.
Good Lord I'd be pissed if they passed on arguably the best CB in the draft. And I've been souring on Campbell once I heard he had labrum surgery. He could be out at start of year and I'd be afraid of reinjury for this entire season. He's a 2nd rounder for me now.
CBS has the Rams trading down with the Giants moving up to 26. What do the Rams get? Picks 65 and 105. According to the widely accepted Trade Chart, pick 26 is worth 700 points, while 65 is worth 265 points and 105 is worth 84 points. Yeah - i can really see Les accepting that deal...

Fantasy Points (whoever they are) has us staying at 26 and taking Azareye'h Thomas. Right position, but there are better CBs available (Morrison, Revel), in my opinion at least, as well as several players who would be higher on my Big Board, like Kenneth Grant, Omarion Hampton and Malaki Starks.
Thomas scares me also. Injured and hasn't run for teams. Biggest knock on him is speed. Makes me think of Kendrick at bit too much. Not an ideal 1st rounder to me. I'd MUCH rather gamble on Revel, Starks, or Morrison
Arguably the worst of all, however, is Sky Sports. They have the Rams staying at 26 and taking Maxwell Hairston. Again, i have no complaints with taking a cornerback... but Will Johnson is still on the board. WT actual F? Unless one of Johnson's legs has fallen off, i would definitely take him if he's on the board at 26.

If you want a laugh, all these mocks (and more) are available here:

Hairston has jumped up boards, thats for sure. I'd prefer him to Thomas, but if freakin Johnson is on the board, no brainer.

Pick
26

Los Angeles Rams

Donovan Jackson
Ohio State · OL · Senior
Jackson was primarily a guard at Ohio State, but he kicked out to left tackle when Josh Simmons was sidelined by an injury last season. I see Jackson playing inside for the Rams, possibly allowing Steve Avila to move to center.
Just terrible. What do we not need? Interior OL yet idiots keep mocking it to us. Yeah, lets bench 2 solid starters (Limmer, Shelton) while we have holes that need plugged.

I’d be ecstatic with getting Simmons at 26. Even if he needs some additional time off and a year to fully get back. No need to rush him. Would be huge for the OL to get him.
Simmons has likely the highest potential of any OT this draft, but, he had a nasty knee injury. Several tears and non contact. That scares me a lot. I don't think Simmons contributes for us this entire season, which also scares me because we are in a short SB window right now.

Matt Miller is a MEAT-HEAD !! Good ol”55. That said I’ll continue to say drafting a New Age MLBer is the CALL for me. Jihaad Campbell might fall to 26 ?? I like that OT pick, but only want a pure OT.
Campbell is currently in a sling and not likely to be able to play until start of the year, best case. Labrum tear surgery is bad news, especially for a MLB that get bashed nearly every play. I really love Campbell as a player, but that injury would black list him for a 1st round pick for me. I would not be surprised if he was a 2nd round pick due to it.

Not concerned about this year so much. Likely we’re drafting for depth and 2026 starters.

But absolutely you are right that the injury/health is a concern. I’d have to be 100% certain our doctors are cool with him (or anyone else injured like revel) with our #1 (or any of the higher draft picks).
