If Bradford comes to camp able to play next year he will be the starter. There is no QB in the draft that can beat out Bradford at even 90% in his first camp. The year after maybe, No one on the roster now can beat him out either. Unless Peyton Manning wants to finish his career as a Ram don't look for a upgrade in FA.
The problem with Bradford coming back as a backup is if he is still the best QB then you just sold the rest of the players down the river. They more than anyone else know who gives them the best chance to win.
So this gets down to a choice.
If they can get what they know to be the real deal QB in the draft they take him and cut bait with Sam.
Or they keep Bradford and the chance he can come back and take a 1b QB in hopes he can either step in for Bradford by midseason and push him or replace him the next.
Snisher has some thinking to do.
This is why I wanted Bortels.
