I think Rosenthal had it right… Rams realized they have a gem in Speights and wanted to move on.

Good news is that the Titans are supposed to suck, so the return - even a fourth or fifth - should be high in that round.

McSnead to Titans:
“we would like to trade EJ IV to you. Are you not entertained?”
Titans to McSnead:
“We are entertained and will give you a 2025 5th round pick for him”.
McSnead: “??????”

Alright.. let’s speculate.. I’m thinking they traded EJ & a 7th and got back a 5th.

Betting a fourth.

I'll miss Ernest. He was a solid piece for us for a long while, and it's a shame that we couldn't work out something with him. At the same time, I'm excited for the Omar Speights era to begin.

I like EJ. I really like his talent for blitzing.
I think he can be replaced at a very good level between the tackles.. and that his replacement will be better than him in coverage.

Strange how this played out, but I’m going to trust Les, Sean and Chris on this one.

Not sure yet how this will turn out, but at least we can all appreciate how this organization doesn’t entertain long drawn out negotiations (most of the time) and will quickly move on if there’s a dead end

Don't like this instinctively, but have to trust McSnead that his knee wasn't going to make it to another contract and they didn't want to have another Gurley situation.

Valid point.
I’m not expecting anything more than a pick swap, for that reason.

Don’t even need to see the return to know we got shafted. I REALLY hope OS is up for the challenge because the other dudes are not it.
