Bond yes I agree but I'd take Steward if we needed an edge any time.

No on the A&M edges (Scourton aside). Stewart's athletic traits never correlated to his on-the-field production (honestly reminds me of Vernon Gholston), and Turner is a hothead that's been ejected from games and gets personal fouls like they're going out of style.

I'm passing hard on both Bond and Stewart. Bond has terrible hands and did not impress me at all this season. Stewart may be all world athlete, but, if that doesn't translate to the football field, what does he add? No chance I draft him above M.Williams, Pearce, Green, or even Ezeiruaku. I'd also take Campbell over him every day of the week. He's shown some chops at rushing passer also (more then Stewart).

I'd didn't say I'd take him over those guys though you need to look into Greens off field issues as a team before drafting him.

Stewart's perceived lack of production is 100% scheme. That and I'd probably use him as a backup for Turner and Fiske. I'm not using him like Verse or Young. He's talented he just needs to be used right imo.

Stewart reminds me more of Vernon Gholston and is firmly on my DND list. Big bodied, oozes physicality and athleticism...and yet even Gholston was more productive at Ohio State than Stewart was at A&M. At some point, you have to look at the player's on field production and how he affects the scheme and not how the scheme affects him. Stewart is talented, but I'd easily take Scourton over him at this point. Shemar Turner is also on my DND list because he's a complete hothead on the field who has gotten flagged many times and suspended once for it.

Agreed that I hope the Rams have taken a very hard look at Green's off-the-field issues, as well as Pearce's and Bond's, if they take any of those three.

I'm not advocating for Bond. But when I finally watched some tape of him 2 weeks ago, I was surprised at how physical he was for being a perceived "track" guy.
I think he has character concerns.

I recall that the Rams did meet with him early in the offseason
